Also I have tried the super low carb and just couldn't sustain it like other posters. You know sometimes I want to have some ice cream with my kids or a slice of pizza on a Friday night :)

I do around 100 carbs a day. Like other posters, I haven't eliminated carbs, just reduced them. I stay away from sugar as much as possible. I will support you too - feel free to add me. Started at 225 and have lost 21 pounds since February. I have found the community portion of the site very helpful. I log every day. A food scale is very important- I was stuck and found out my meat portions were way too big. You can do this!

For the first time ever the hubby and I and the kids walked over the Brooklyn Bridge. Took a picture on the bridge and was actually happy with the way I looked in it. Plus I did 20,000 steps walking around the city!

I use Panasonic ErgoFit Best in Class In-Ear Earbud Headphones I bought on Amazon. They cost about $7 and are so super comfortable in your ear! And for inexpensive headphones they last and sound quality is good. I personally hate the design of the ones that come with the iPhones. They never stay in my ears LOL

I've had the mirena now for several years and always thought it was the problem in the back of my head. But in reality every time I put the work in - eating right & working out - I lose weight. So who knows?

Yup I had that same few days a couple of weeks ago. But we can't beat ourselves up and we can't do the same things we've been doing. My motto this time is that this time will be different. Twenty years fighting the same weight, and I don't want to make the same mistakes. You can do it!

I like to eat a low sugar cereal like multigrain Cheerios, life, or Barbara's multigrain spoonfuls, filled to the brim with unsweetened vanilla almond milk. Pretty much I have that every morning. And it's about 200 calories, plus low in sugar and carbs overall.
