Came back from vacation where I didn't track and basically ate everything I wanted (in moderation) and immediately started tracking again. That has been a problem in the past a vacation could easily derail me, this time right back to it, and no guilt about vacation indulgences.30

I started my journey in April and since then I had worked out religiously 5 days a week without skipping a workout. I was terrified for the moment that I would have to skip a workout because in the past this has completely derailed me.
Last week my worst nightmare came true and I caught a horrible cold and was out of the gym and not eating the greatest for an entire week. I felt a bit defeated and then Monday morning rolled around and I got myself to the gym and back in track! Now I feel like nothing can derail me

I had a head shot taken for work about a month before starting with MFP and then had another one taken this week. I knew my face had slimmed down a little as I've dropped weight, but seeing the two pictures next to each other - wow! Very proud of myself, and very motivated not to go back to where I was!
. . . wish we could see them!
I've been reluctant to post identifying pictures, but just realized I don't even know how to post them if I wanted to! They're not online so I don't have a
URL, and I can't find anything in the forums explaining a way to upload them from the photo gallery on my android phone. Sorry. :-(1 -
It's nice to be asked how I lost the weight to be told you inspired them to change too13

Please don't post them, if you're uncomfortable with that. Thank you for answering!5 -
Being the hottest chick at the pool...at least in my own mind. (But I guess that's where it really counts!)27

This week, my NSV was making two delicious and healthy dishes with seasonal produce that friends have given me from their gardens that I'll be making again and again. Gluten free tomato pie and cucumber soup. Both sound a little kooky, but they were so good. I used deal with work stress by going home and ordering high calorie delivery food.19

I worn a pair of shorts yesterday that I haven't fit into in 3 years.17
-
Went to a couple of theme parks in the last few months and was able to ride the rides with no problems.26
-
I shopped my closet this morning to wear a shirt that had been too tight before I started MFP.17

I can no longer 'shop my closet'. I'm smaller than I was in high school! Thank God for thrift stores!34

I always steal the duvet, apparently - not consciously, but it seems I like to wrap myself up in it! Hubby complained last night that I didn't need to steal THAT much of it, and asked was I trying to make him think there was "still a fat woman in the bed"? I pointed out that I AM still a fat woman, and he said "no you're not".
I really am - still hovering on the borderline between overweight and obese - but it was sweet of him to say that!
A second and kind of related NSV - he can't seem to keep his hands off me these days! He always tried to make me feel sexy and loved anyway, but lately he's been hugging, squeezing and grabbing more often. I used to try and push him away, but now I think I'm starting to enjoy it...40 -
I have a few! (I'm so excited)
1. No muffin top on my jeans, no sucking in at all to do them up. They're completely comfortable.
2. I can wear a ring my grandmother gave me in high school on my right ring finger. It used to be tight on my left pinkie.
3. This one's not so great but I'll take it. I'm down a cup size. I'm still a DD but I suspect that's gonna change Still it's a definitive sign that I have lost some weight. So I'm counting it.26 -
Made it through a day at the fair without gorging on all the deep fried, powdered sugar laden snacks that were just lined up side to side!
Honestly the smell of all the sugar made me nauseous.
I did however have a burger and an ice cream cone!

Bless your soul! Fair food is my favorite!!5 -
Went bowling with the kids then came home to exercise.
Last year each time I went bowling it hurt while bowling and I was hurtin for two days after!19 -
My saddlebags have disappeared! I've had them for as long as i can remember. It took 95 pounds but they're gone!34

I have two today:
1) I went to the grocery store, and bought only one thing that was not on my list - fresh blueberries were on sale!
2) My blood pressure has been in the normal range for over a month. In June, the top number was between 130 to 143. It has been under 130 since early July; this morning was 120 / 78! (My record so far - this past Sunday, it was 116 / 70!)
THANK YOU to all of you who share your successes here. This is the one message board that I check daily - your stories keep me motivated. Let's keep the momentum going!34 -
I drive a small car. I just like to. One thing I liked about my small car when I bought it in 2012 was that I could raise the driver's right arm rest to a vertical position and it would thus not uncomfortably jab my belly. Recently the thought occurred to me to lower the arm rest to the horizontal position and I found it to be quite comfortable with no jabbing my HOLY COW IT'S GONE!27

Here are the ones that come to mind so far:
1. My collarbones have become visible.
2. I'm no longer out of breath when climbing stairs.
3. I now walk 10-12 miles/day. That's more than I used to walk in a week.
4. The regular bath towels wrap all the way around me now. I don't need to use a large beach towel.
5. I wore a bathing suit for the first time in years.
6. My cholesterol dropped from 225 to 183.31 -
I went through my closet and bureau, and can officially fit into all of the clothes that I own (except for the ones that are too big now)! Some jeans are a little snug, but can button and will be comfortable soon!19

For the first time ever the hubby and I and the kids walked over the Brooklyn Bridge. Took a picture on the bridge and was actually happy with the way I looked in it. Plus I did 20,000 steps walking around the city!27

I got subway veggie delight half foot instead of the other choices and a banana. Hubby thinks I'm slim enough so could have been easy to order anything. BUT I'm not at goal weight yet so I'm still on a diet. Plus I love tasting Swiss cheese on its own.18

I fit back into my size small scrubs for work!
A few months ago I could barely pull them up on my thighs and definitely not around my hips! They're "unisex" so I mean... they probably aren't as small as you would imagine... bahahaha!
but it's progress! And it means I'm back to my prepregnancy size after baloon-ing up to XL's....23 -
I bought bras AND panties at Victoria's Secret. That was a big goal for me. I was in tears when I tried on everything and it fit me. Also, a dress I bought 8 years ago fits again... Better than it did when I bought it. I'm wearing out for my anniversary tomorrow!38

I actually weigh what my driver's license says I do. Lol38

I was weearing my newish trousers Bought them at the end of april. Got so fed up with them being so big on my bottom I went on line and bought two new ones a size down in the sales. They should arrive tonight.19

At work on Friday a couple of my colleagues came up to me and said I looked amazing and congratulated me on my weight loss.
A few others later on in the day said I looked radiant! Never been called that before!
It is such a massive boost that people can notice it even if I can't see too much of a difference. I know I am smaller as the clothes I wear are smaller, but I don't feel it.
Also in a picture for my hen do last weekend where I was wearing shorts you can actually see definition of the outer muscle on my legs. That's what I'm most proud of!26 -
I was walking into the bank yesterday and passed by a row of windows. I had to do a double take because oh my god I'm getting lanky, not fat.
Also didn't recognise my shadow while running this morning, so that was funny.32
