@nebslp I am doing pretty well! It's not completely perfect, but I sort of have a routine now. If I can get my 12 year old on board with her stuff it will help 😂 Ah the joy of kids.

Laundry is a mixed bag! Ain't that how it goes. I am doing better but currently have a pile of clean that needs taken care of 😩 it started when a water bottle was tossed on a bed and the lid popped off so I had to suddenly dry and change bedding. It's usually saved for weekends, but surprise for me. 😜 One day at a time.

I've lost about 15 of my stay at home pounds just tracking and making sure to eat less if I want the treats, and I do. I always want the treats. More chocolate please. If you want to prioritize nutrition prepping even a sack lunch to grab from the fridge at lich time helps me. I make sure I get fruit and vegetable while…

Ugh I meant to enter for next line. 4. When I cold and hang laundry it will be at the dryer to prevent me from being distracted or just moving a basket to another room. I used to do this and it was more efficient.

I am half the month late. I am so lazy unless I force myself. So for the rest of the month my goal is to hang and fold and put away any laundry we wash that same day. 1. When my phone sends a notification that the wash finished I will go to the laundry closet and switch it over. 2. If I am indisposed, I will set a 5…

I left for a few years and only gave a couple friends still active. I'd love to have more friends to interact with. I like clicking that heart ❤️

I'm back for the same reason. I gained about 15 in the first two months of it and have struggled to not gain more. Tracking food only helps because even if I go over on calories, if I submit that food diary I stop eating. Stress releases cortisol which increases hunger.

Valentina sauce. It's an import from Mexico so in my stores it's usually with the Mexico section and not on the hot sauce aisle. It has less vinegar flavor from most American brands, a bit of a citrus flavor, and a good heat. It's distinct and that's one reason to at least try it, if not to give it a permanent place on…

This works for me sometimes. 😂 Hope you had success!

Hi everyone! It looks like forums are less busy than they were when I first used MyFitnessPal 5 years ago. I've been knitting since 2010, crochet since about 2013. I mostly make socks these days but made tons of baby things when my kids were little.

Me please. I lost 30 hit a plateau then joined MFP. I am down another 13. But, I have lost momentum. Maybe it's the long semester and outside stress, but friends motivate me! Ultimate goal is to lose 100 lbs but I am being happy about losing every 10

Great work! You are almost to 50lbs! That is quite commendable.
-
0.2 lb loss this week! With my whole family taking turns being sick and gaining last week (but not recording it), I will take it. Yay a loss!
-
For tasting while cooking, you can measure out your food then take a spoonful out before you eat. Then you are tracking the taste from earlier.
-
Even if you have a bad week, or 3 bad weeks, its a 6 month journey! We are almost at the half way mark.
-
You totally should! I also managed to give away my entire closet. So, I only have clothes that fit or are a little snug - its motivation.

100 calorie Greek yogurt cups. I am taking a 2 week break from sweets though, so I will be relying on the backup snack options, boiled eggs or celery eaten with hummus.
-
Wohoo! Two weeks ago I gained 4 lbs (had some dental surgery, will have some more when the crown comes in). Finally lost it all again for a grand total of just about 10 lbs since the start of this group. And, the obvious reminder that its not JUST pounds lost. I had a wardrobe update last weekend. Down 3 shirt sizes and…

I am celebrating my 1.4 lb weight loss! I told my husband I have lost 8.8 lbs since July and he thought it was a lot more. Nope, the more obvious changes aka inches lost are from exercising. :)
-
If you are at a healthy BMI, you should start working on strength training instead of focusing on just cardio and calorie cutting. Lifting weights or even just pushups, squats, and crunches will help increase your muscle mass. Also, you should start using your measurements over pounds. You can lose a lot of inches and only…

Wow, I can't believe I lost 0.4 lbs. Its not much, but with how poorly I ate on Friday and Saturday (funeral and family around) plus getting a cold and cutting out most of my cardio, I thought for sure I would be up a pound.
-
Keep on trucking! I was stuck on the same 2-3 lbs for a few months. I had to start weighing out my food. On Saturdays, I weigh out servings of fruit, vegetables, cheese, nuts, and peel boiled eggs. Then I can get into the fridge and grab exactly one serving and know its one serving. P.S. I also did it with 'bad' snack…

I am a stress eater and I just started a new semester at school. Add to that we haven't got our old house ready to list and my nonverbal child with autism has started peeing everywhere except the toilet. My mother in law stopped by and i swear thst wan eats 4 times the food i do, her metabolism must be insane. So i eat…

Remembered my allergy pill! Walked faster taking the kids to school (plus I was backpack carrying the 5 year old). Can't tell if I was sweating from walking fast (the way there is all up hill) or because its going to rain and is more humid today. Oh, and I have been working REALLY hard to eat better. Yesterday was an…

This is really good time for just starting walking! You must have done other cardio recently. I hope you have recovered. The first time I tried walking 3 miles I was sore for 3 days afterwards.

yMy brand new kindergartner has decided that I am supposed to backpack him to school and home. He weighs like 50 lbs, so this is no small feat. But half a mile uphill with " weights" each morning and half a mile down hill when I pickup. I will have buns of steel soon.
-
Just added myself.
-
Healthy breakfast and crunches! Bruised the top of my foot so taking it a little easy with standing things.
-
I ate a healthy breakfast! And, I did moderate intensity house cleaning for over an hour. Our spacious house = a lot more moving juts to clean.

I have always been fat, and never been active. I grew up in a family where you had food for failures and food for success. Everything was rewarded in food. The better or worse thing are going the more and worse we would eat. If you meet with family, you eat. If you do well at school, you are rewarded with food. If you do…
