Finally reached it again this morning 199.0, 20.5lbs down :)

Those leg gains! :o Congrats, you look great!

Same. I have a Wi-fi scale that automatically syncs to Happy Scale app and MFP. I anticipate the fluctuations and it helps me pay more attention and stay consistent.

Not to me either but I think the type of protein could matter if you're not using a recipe or a recipe doesn't come out as good as you would have liked (like maybe the texture is off). In my experience and from what I've read casein protein is better for baking, so I use a protein powder that is a whey/casein blend. It…

+1 If it's a consistent problem it's most likely consistent high intake of sodium. To flush it out of your system you can drink a lot of water or watch your sodium for a few days and your body should let go of the water weight.

+1, Never had an issue with the old navy brand running leggings. I use the crop and the full legging.

Another thing I would look into is possibly changing your gait, not by a lot because personally I think it's important to run how your body wants to run but shifting the strike of your foot may help. I had a really hard time with swollen/tight muscles that would come on suddenly and be incapacitating, leading me to have to…

Agreed, when I did sports I didn't do anything that required running so I've never been much of one. I'm on week 5 and I walk at 2.5/3.0 and run at 3.5. ETA: Once you are done with the program you can focus on speed/distance goals, that's what I plan on doing.

I use both Muscle Milk Cookies and Cream and PE Science Select Snickerdoodle. In the past I've also liked Optimum Nutrition though too. I like the taste of both, especially the Snickerdoodle ,and the taste holds up well with only water, which is important to me. The snickerdoodle is great in recipes because of the taste…

Where do you typically get your protein sources from? I'm a creature of habit and tend towards chicken, tuna and salmon (if I can afford it).
-
Cool, I didn't know that was a thing - what meat mail order company do you order from?
-
Now only 9.4lbs to go
-
You look amazing!!
-
Thanks, I'll check it out!
-
wow, amazing progress, you look awesome!
-
I've been looking for a good falafel recipe, do you mind sharing the one you're using?
-
You've made huge progress! Congrats!
-
Guesstimate if there's no nutrition info. Log ingredients separately and break down the meal, guess portion sizes for each ingredient and guess on the higher side to be sure. ETA: Don't forget to include any sauces/marinades/dressings that were part of the meal.
-
Wow, well done! You look great!
-
Thanks for the advice! I will definitely incorporate all that.
-
I can't get ATG on my unweighted either without flexion unless my stance is more spread out. I will definitely give that a try though, thanks!
-
Thanks, I will check it out - I don't have a problem with the movement, just can't get low enough without getting flexion.
-
Second this. It's important to not overwork them.
-
If you don't stretch right after your workout, it could lead to sorer muscles. Try foam rolling them too. Honestly, when my muscles are bad I tend to still go to the gym and it actually helps me feel better (go light on that specific muscle group, I don't work them directly).
-
Has your mobility improved at all?
-
Thanks, I'll look into those links/suggestions.

You're probably going to get a million different answers here but I have a Polar a300 and love it. My advice would be to figure out the features you really want and do some research, find a site where you can compare different models side by side.

I use yurbuds, they work great for me. I've been using them for years, they last long, have good sound and stay in, not to mention they are also more affordable than other options.
-
Agreed - don't hate on it until you've tried it. I love salmon fillets too but get more for my money with salmon patties since I prefer only wild caught. Thanks for the responses :)

I was hoping that wasn't my only option but better than risking it, thank you all for the help! :)
