Lol, 5000 is a mini binge for me. xD

Ooh, making my own sounds like a fantastic idea!

@Hope228 No Trader Joes in Canada =(

Love this post!

I'm desperate to win 5 million dollars, and to win it in the most legal way. Any advice will help. =( I think that the 'fastest' way is through keto, but for me - that's not really something I'd be able to keep up. I wish you would enjoy the day regardless of any extra weight. =)

Hey everyone, it looks like I'm a little late to the party! I do enjoy Oreos, but I do not get why North Americans love these cookies so much. I much prefer other types of cookies - particularly Maple cookies, or lemon cookies - especially if they are soft and chewy. But if I may politely say, it seems to be an…

Personally, I make my own salads at home and eat burgers outside =)

Ignore the people who will criticize you for saying you can't lose less at "1,300" =)

What a wonderful position to be in: milkshakes and smoothies galore. And stock up on healthy fats. Buy refrigerated oils like flax, krill, any healthy oil and let you brain be happy.

Canada never has anything fun like that. Ever.

How do ya'all have such great memories recalling which user posted what thread!? :dizzy:

My friend has used shakes for a very long time as well, and she's doing great with her success. I would have never considered buying a shake, or going into a specific diet - even at the time prior to any research about fitness, but the shakes work for her - she might get off them, or maybe she'll continue to use them - but…

What!? But reduced TV time and playing with the earth doesn't seem miserable at all! =D

I personally dislike abs on men, almost to a point where I hate seeing it, but that's just me.

When I was 13, I was wearing over-sized T-shirts from my dad's drawers and oversized jeans playing outside in the forest with the neighborhood kids while we taught each other how to clone Pokemon. I didn't even know how "sex" was preformed, nor had any crushes. Boys and girls were playmates to go out and explore the…

Unfortunately you can't control where you lose it. You didn't provide any measurements of your frame, but I'll assume you are in pain - perhaps insurance could cover surgery?

You know what? I 100% agree with you. It totally sucks. But the good thing is that after you've done it for awhile (subjective), you won't miss food as much. It won't end up being as euphoric and delish as it feels right now. It takes a long while, but eventually, you're not gonna feel like it sucks because you'll be used…

I was really hoping you had eaten that doughnut because it looks soooo delish!! =)

Me too. Anytime someone (at the gym) intervenes and says, "let me show you", they end up saying something like, "Uh, I guess that's good enough" after 30 minute attempts to do as directed. Maybe some people just can't...squat?

Are you two still together? The comment sounded so resentful :scream:

"Is there anybody out there that has a husband, boyfriend, partner who doesn't want to get healthy while you do?" Aww, I have a dad who refuses to get better. He is denial with how much food he consumes. Diabetic, overweight, has heart problems and I know he's not going to make it for very long, and he hasn't even gotten…

@@SueSueDio Yes, it does vary from province to province. =) I do have some old photos and I do plan to bring them to the surgeon in our appointment. I called MSP to ask what the "requirements" are for my province and the woman just said that my provincial requirement is based on the surgeon's recommendation, and having the…

But it's not about the clothing/appearance - it's about the pain =(

In my eyes, I'm 35lbs overweight, but according to the BMI - I'm 15lbs from meeting the appropriate minimum before "overweight". When I was 130lbs (at 5'6 height), my chest was still very very large - yes, they were smaller, but I was still bursting buttons in my bust while my waist was fitted. There is no doubt that even…

I know that sounds helpful, and it can be and perhaps it depends on the location, but I find that absolutely everyone assumes themselves to be a fitness pro and gives advice unsolicited. They always come up to me and say, "I'm a professional fitness trainer, let me show you how to do that". These days, "everyone" is a…

It took me awhile - maybe half a year, maybe more. Also - I only started to feel "fitter" once I started doing a bunch of cardio, not just one type (so, I was swimming laps, running, doing elliptical, riding the bike for hours on very steep hills).

@miss_aims Squats can be very painful for some people. Just because it's a miracle for most, doesn't mean it is good for every single person.

I love the taste of kale, but your friend didn't lose weight because she ate kale, she lost weight because she was in a calorie deficit. If you want to start incorporating kale into your meals for health benefits - please do so, but it's not going to do do anything specific for weight loss.
