I'm Timmins Ontario. I'm 44 and want to lose 80+ lbs be healthy at 170lbs. I'm also 5'10. It's going to be a slow process.

Some of my scrubs were a little looser. So I tried on my old ones that were too tight. Now they fit :)

Congratulations. I hope to start C25k in the spring. I have done it before and then went to 10km. Unfortunately have to wait until I know that my feet are healed from the sprains and my legs are strong enough.
-
Me too. I eat it with a spoon and count it. I'm going to take the advice of the other posters....sigh. Thanks for posting this. Hugs.

I agree the pictures posted are fantastic. My nsv. Is i have found it easier to get on the floor mat and getting up is easier too.

Add me if you wish. I started a few weeks ago. I have 94 to go. there are going to be hard days. But with support things get better.

I had lost 40lbs. With WW. In the past and gained it back. I had a few problems. I was I wasn't eating my exercise pts. I was losing 4-5lbs a week and my hair was falling out. I had no counselling on this issue I had asked of it was okay to lose weight like that. They didn't really give me an answer I was to eat 22-24pts…

Lol this is fantastic. I have lost a human's skin. Hoping to lose a total of a 2 month horse. Kinda puts thongs in perspective.

I have a while to reach my goal. I will probably have to continue to log in. I have counted calories in the past and didn't maintain and gained. It will be a life style change.
-
In your case I would. But I don't log my wts because I think mfp over calculates the cardio I enter

I'm 5 10. I have a long way to get to my goal wt. but. When I was 160lbs. I felt fantastic. But everyone said I was too thin. I was size 10. I have a medium to large frame. Yes that makes sense for my body too. Thanks for sharing this

Well I guess I am the odd ball here lol. I have depression and winter is hard on me. I feel so energetic when the sun is out. Winter here (Northern Ontario) is about 4-5 months, cloudy, and gets dark early. Not to forget cold. When I'm low I just want to sleep winter away like the bears do. Lol.

I'm set for one pound a week. I want to make healthy changes over the long run. I have no end or finish. Just changes for life.
-
My husband is joining me on mfp. We are counting calories together. My new winter coat is feeling to big.

Lynn. Start 260. Nov 21 258lbs Nov 27 254lbs Yay down 4. :)) but it's water... Im happy doing a happy dance.
-
I think it's kinda motivating. But I don't take it too seriously. I don't eat the same thing every day and not gonna start that would be too restrictive.

I'm healing a sprained ankle. I have been going to the gym and using the bike for 1/2 hr and increasing time and level in the future. I wish I could go for a long walk or run again. sniff sniff I hope to start C25k again. I lost a lot of weight years ago with that. I loved it.

Hello. I'm Lynn I'm 5"10 and 258lbs. I just restated Nov 16/15. I need to lose 100lbs to be in my wt range..... That was hard to admit..... I'm actually 100 lbs over weight.... Huff...puff.... I'm on an exercise bike. but it's sinking in. I have a long journey. I want to lose it healthily.... Catcha later......

I would consider challenging your body with a new exercise. Along with the other suggestions.
-
Third attempt here I didn't far the other times. I'm in a different mind frame so I hope to continue the good and exercise habits forever. Welcome back
-
I don't know if anyone else is like this, but after exercising for a week I FEEL like I lost 10lbs but the scale says differently. There is no change in clothes either. It's a good feeling to feel lighter and stronger
-
I wanted to add. it would be a miracle if I was pregnant. I have no ovaries or fallopian tunes
-
I would have to say my light moment was when a stranger asked when the baby was due.
-
Been to the gym 4 days in a row.
-
I'm starting over again too. But I gained way more than I lost. I can't remember this quote correctly but it goes something like this. "if you fall five times, get up six"
-
I would have to say shift work is the top of my list. It's difficult to create a routine to stick with.
-
Looks like you gained almost 4lbs in 4days. Not likely. Have you eaten salty foods. please don't stress too much about it. The posts here are amazing keep up the good work and carry on.
-
I know it's tricky. I went out for lunch today. I usually have a begal with cream cheese and a LG chocolate milk. instead I got a tea and no cream cheese on my bagel. I agree with the posts about knowing what to order before going out. If you can
