I have fruit or nuts with coffee usually.

Your diagnosing doctor should have given you exercises and stretches or referred you to physical therapy. Are you just self diagnosing?
-
Definitely Garmin.

Have you tried calling a local running store, like Potomac River Running, or looking on Meetup?

You don’t need to be very fit but you do need to be able to pass a swim test. There were several in my group who couldn’t swim and didn’t pass or who weren’t really comfortable in the water and ended up not being into it. The tanks are heavy but manageable, and once you’re certified if you’re diving with a dive shop…

Mine always dissolves in water regardless of temperature. Sounds like you got a bad batch.

About 8 lbs. Any vacation weight always comes off me within a week or two.

That’s how I feel when I run on an empty stomach or don’t eat enough before a run.

If I were you I’d start the run earlier and then do the last 3 miles with the group or modify your plan so you do your long runs on a different day and have Saturday as an easy short run. But ultimately it depends what your goal is. If your goal is just to finish the half then you’ll be fine doing as you’re doing.

There are Nandos in the US.

It’s a rest stop type of restaurant.

Usually coffee plus a bagel or toast and fruit. I can’t run on an empty stomach.

Fruit. Put fruit that bruise or get squished easily into a container.

Of chains I would go to: Sweetgreen, Chop't, Pret, Cava, Protein Bar, Roti, Taylor, Chipotle, Paul, or Au Bon Pain.

If I’m working late I’ll eat dinner at work and have a snack or a smaller second dinner depending on how late I’m working. I just have dinner when I’m hungry unless work is providing the dinner. Tonight I had dinner around 7:30 pm and worked until about 11:30 pm. I don’t delay breakfast, but I also start work usually…

I love smoothies. They're the perfect breakfast for me. Whether they're high calorie and full of sugar depends entirely what you put in them. Some people use ice cream and 1 cup of peanut butter whereas others just use fruit and vegetables. The one I make most often consists of:* Water * Kale or spinach * Lime or lemon *…

I’d rather just work out before or after work, and then then take a quick lunch. I’m not an hourly employee so taking a long lunch just prolongs my work day.
