Cracker Barrel FINALLY released a nutrition info PDF on their website. Welcome to 2018. I am going there with my Mom for dinner and found it when I was dealing my calories like drug money.. I mean, pre-logging. And man, I wanted to know but WOW! Thank goodness for the Wholesome Fixins menu.

We're finally getting one where I live. I'm sure some of those meals would be my whole calorie allowance lol.1

I went for brunch on Easter, holy cow was it delicious! The plate I chose clocked in at over 1200 calories, totally worth it tho!2

I would love to see a restaurant that has almost all low/moderate calorie options with a 'fattenin fixins' menu. One probably exists somewhere that does not just make sub sandwiches.

Nope, it’s primarily a comfort food type restaurant with a general store attached5 -
I always order from their kids menu when I find myself at Cracker Barrel. They welcome this by labeling it something like "for kids from 1 to 99", which is great. Smaller portions, limited options but cheap & easy!11

I will never understand the draw of Cracker Barrel beyond trying once for the novelty of it. When I roadtripped across the US (WA->CA->WA->NM->TN->NY->ME->WY->NM) in the early aughts, ate at one somewhere in the SE. It was completely unmemorable beyond remembering I thought at the time (besides how yellow/brown the interior decor was!) "Meh, what's the big deal? Waffle House was better."
Calling all that kitsch they sell a general store is a bit of a stretch, imo.5 -
We have one about 45 minutes north but we always go to the Hoss' steak house instead. I did eat at a Cracker Barrel in I think it was KY or somewhere we went on a trip and it was good.0

It’s a rest stop type of restaurant.

I always order the grilled chicken tenders. I think that's about the only entree on the menu that's healthy0

Are you Australian?0 -
I'm from the south so Cracker Barrel is basically religion where I'm from.
For me personally, it can be hit or miss. I love southern food but there are better, local places to get the same types of things IMO.0 -
