You don't need to weigh a lot to start strong lifts. There are people who weight 190lbs, but can dead lift 550lbs or more. Granted the more weight you add in muscle the more you can lift down the road, but that shouldn't prevent you from building what muscle you have now. Just make sure to be safe about it so you don't…

I have the fitbit Charge HR and I personally think it is. It allowed me to keep track of my heart range to know how my body was burning calories.

Hiya Hannah! You can totally do this, just take it a day at a time. My wife is in a similar battle and its hard, but if you eat right and drink plenty of water before you know it your a hundred pounds down. I got up to 346lbs myself and had knee and back pain. I no longer have pain in either spot. You got this :)

My calves are also big, but my whole life they have been carrying around a tremendous amount of weight so they since become big and muscular. Once you slim down more your legs won't have to work so hard to support your body and I would imagine they would shrink down in size. My calves seem to get smaller and more defined…

I started with INSANITY and it was an incredible experience. It was a little rough on the knees so I had to modify certain moves, but overall it was an amazing program. I ended up losing 15lbs, but almost 29 inches off my body in 2 months. I've since moved on to INSANITY Max:30, but I will make my way back around to a 2nd…

Genetically we all lose weight in different spots differently. Could also be that you are developing stronger muscles in your legs. Some people lose body fat in their lower half faster then they do in their top half. Just keep working hard, eating healthy and I'm sure they will catch up with the rest of your body.

Would love to help you along on your journey and help you reach your goals and beyond. You can do this!

So far I've done INSANITY, Cize, T25 and right now I'm on INSANITY Max: 30. They are all so effective. My wife is doing Country Heat right now and she absolutely LOVES that workout.

Would love to help you stay motivated. I will say it now and you will see it a lot, but take one day at a time. It's so important to set small goals and work towards those goals rather then looking at the overall picture. So like your first goal, just say you want to lose 20lbs and stick to that. When you hit that goal…

My goal is to just eat as clean as I can and keep pushing myself through my workouts. Then hopefully my body responds with good news :)

I have absolutely no understanding of why (maybe I'm tired), but your topic title made me crack up for some reason.

I personally do Cardio after Weight training. If I do cardio before hand I tend to be to winded to get a completely effective weight routine accomplished. You could do it either way though.

I'm here for you if you need someone. I've lost over 100lbs myself and I know what your going through. When I worked in law enforcement I didn't always get breaks. Can make it tricky to try and juggle a good lifestyle. Just remember to pack your own lunch as healthy as you can and try to stay up on your water intake. Maybe…

Thanks! Yeah you HAVE to take it day by day. Otherwise instead of feeling like your running a quarter mile, you feel like your having to run 800 miles. It can seem daunting and impossible. You should be so proud though for what you have accomplished!

Firstly, don't beat yourself up. You are doing absolutely amazing! Losing that much weight while taking care of children is not easy to do. My wife was actually in a similar situation as you are. I had to do all my workouts at home taking care of my son so you can easily do it. Try not to look at the overall goal and just…

You only want to lose about 2lbs a week. If you lose to much weight in a week that can be unhealthy and counter productive.

Peanut butter isn't bad for you if you use it properly. I eat a couple servings typically in a day for the fat content as well as a little protein. Plus it's a great fuel source for before a workout. I do try to stay with a more natural kind, but it can be pricey sometimes.

WOOO Congrats on the weight loss. Just remember how you feel after the first half of weight you lost and imagine the feeling when you finish the 2nd half. That's the way I look at it personally.
-
You can all do it! How have your journeys been so far?
-
Added you! You can do this. It's ok to fail, that's how we learn. Even on bad days you can minimize damage by drinking lots of water.

The big thing is to just take a few deep breaths. I'm similar in that my eating depends on how much stress I am under, but I find you just have to focus on doing things that calm you down. If you have a hobby that relaxes you I suggest doing that. Do you pack a lunch for work? If you don't I recommend you do and also drink…

I'm 32 and weighed in at my highest a weight of 346 lbs. I'm thinking I may have some loose skin around my stomach area, but still up in the area because I have 30lbs to go.

Amazing transformation! Well done

You go girl. Like a boss!!!!!!!!!!

Started 2016 off wearing a 4x shirt. Tried on a Large shirt yesterday and it fit :D

Hiya! I weighed in at roughly 346lbs not long ago, but I've lost over 120lbs with only 30 to go. I became a Beachbody coach and would like to help you get to your goal and beyond. I'm also part of a huge facebook group of people who are in the same situation as you and I are. If you are interested I would love to talk to…

Water is a huge part of losing weight. Are you currently exercising? How many calories are you eating a day?

Hi! I've lost 120lbs so far and am a beachbody coach. I would love to support and motivate you during your journey.
