I am in. I also am in the same boat. I lost about 20 lbs last year and gained back 30. The year before that I lost 30 and gained back 40. SW: 176 CW: 164 GW: 130 This time my activity levels are high. I am very motivated to work out and have been planning my meals. Add me.

Congrats on day 4, I also was very hungry/bored at first so I went to the veggie market so I could eat a lot of high volume food. 😂 I am still eating a large quantity of food but I am a lot more active too. You can do this!

Day eight over here, my husband is in the other room drinking so I’m just keeping to myself tonight. I have a busy day tomorrow.

Thanks for responding Ruby. Yeah I try not to be nagging. I’m trying to stay my course and remind myself that my sobriety does not depend on the decisions he makes or doesn’t make.

Does anyone else live with someone who drinks? Today was my day six and if there would of been extra alcohol available I may have given in. Does anyone have tips for the early days and constantly being around alcohol at home?

Yes, I will. I log every meal everyday. Thanksgiving will be no different.

Pinterest has amazing options. I make one in my food processor that tastes like marzipan. It’s with figs, almond butter, chia seeds, almond extract, and a little almond flour. Also I make one with figs, peanut butter, cacao, mint extract, and chia seeds.

I slice them in half and roast them with onions, garlic, olive oil, a bit of Sriracha , and a touch of honey. They are amazing.

The food sounds like great options in moderation. However, I don’t like your rule “eat bland.” I like my seasonings, spices, and herbs; to each their own I suppose. :smile:

OP, you must weigh your foods. You will learn so much as the packages are not accurate. Also I am paleo and pretty low carb around 20% daily. I 100% understand weight loss is CICO however I have some autoimmune issues and a gluten intolerance so I decided to make the paleo choice. It was so hard to eat all of my daily…
