Any BBQ - pulled pork, brisket, chicken, etc. w/ a good dry rub like Salt Lick Garlic and smoked over oak, hickory, or mesquite.

Lobster, scallops, or crab....doesn't matter as long as it is dipped in salty butter and lemon. Wrap those scallops in bacon they are even better. But lately I've skipped the butter and enjoyed just the seafood the rare times I eat them.

I don't know if this qualifies as my favorite food overall, but hands down, my favorite BITE of food is the first one I take of a piece of buttered rye toast dipped in runny egg yolk. HEAVEN.

My husband literally stops eating when he knows I am about to take that first bite, because I grin and make 'yummy' noises every. single. time.

There are no pictures available on the interwebs to accurately portray the beauty.

    I've got 2:

    1) A rare 1 to 1.5# NY Strip steak cut 1-1.5" thick quick grilled at extremely high heat topped w/butter served only w/a good cab.

    2) A steamed 2-3# dungeness crab served w/soughdough bread and a salt/ginger/oil dipping sauce and a bottle of sparkling wine.

I make #1 for myself regularly.

I use to cook #2 to impress new GFs; still prepare it now as a special meal for me and my GF of 10 yrs. ;)

I would eat french fries all day, every day, if I could find a way to make it work. But, they are like a gateway drug for me and I have to be careful with the little monsters.

Ditto. We have a place here called Lord of the Fries and they do THE BEST FRIES

    Starch - Rice
    Meat - Chicken
Vegetable - Tomato (some say it's a fruit because it has seeds)

Pizza! Not any pizza though. The good stuff. I work hard for it all week and enjoy myself every Friday evening!
