I got myself a chest heart rate monitor and per that MFP overestimates my calories burned from cardio but underestimates for strength training type stuff.. I don't know if there are more accurate online calculators if you really want more accurate numbers maybe grab a heart rate monitor

I'm averaging 50hr work weeks right now and haven't had an issue getting to the gym. I always keep gym clothes in my bag so I can go either before or after work. I also make sure to utilize my off days to get in longer/harder workouts. I think the key for me was making sure the gym was convenient to get to from both work…

I killed two pairs of shoes I really like because of that so I figure I'd share to save you the pain. I was surprised when I had the same issue with boot but I think my body was still not wanting to put weight on that foot so even without crutches I still put more weight on good foot causing uneven wear

Was struggling initially but added a protein shake and problem solved I just readjusted what I eat during the day to balance out added calories I'm at 1200 and now average 100g of protein a day if anything I end up low on carbs but not to worried about that (not super low just not hitting MFP recommendation)

I like my Garmin the big selling points for me were 1) I don't have to take it off to charge it 2)I can wear it in pools/showers no problem 3) (vanity reason) lots of different bands to swap in and out. I recently got HRM that I'm going to sync with it......Only down side so far is occasional issues sinking steps with MFP

I just ordered a heart rate monitor so I will try and remember to post an update in this thread when I try it out

Not the exact same injuries but I fractured my 5th metatarsal and had bone bruise on 3rd and 4th nutrition wise make sure you are getting enough calcium and vitamin D, just found out I'm vitamin D deficient and dr says it's probably the reason my foot is healing so slowly.... Also listen to dr about how often you should be…

I was having this same problem and added protein shakes and I have a ton more energy now. They are quick and convenient... The one I like is isopure zero carb it's a little pricey but is lactose free and doesn't bother my stomach.... A lot of places offer single serve packets might be worth it to grab a couple different…

Also forgot about cilantro and ginger both taste like dish soap to me too the point I will projectile vomit if I taste it in a dish.... Interestingly there is research that suggest that there is a genetic cause for people felling like cilantro tastes like dish soap
-
I really hope there is an "after" post for this.... Also I recommend snickers peanut butter squares a few fewer carbs and one more gram of protein should the original get old (similar calories as well)

I fractured my foot a few years ago rushed myself out of cast/crutches then rushed out of boot and foot never healed very well... Hurt the same foot this year and it's taking forever to heal (probably due to not staying off of it enough) my doctor thinks part of it is related to a bad Vitamin D deficiency and previously…

I frequently use the flat outs but I'm trying to improve my cooking skills and set a goal for myself to try something new each week so this seemed like a good thing to try this week
-
I will have to try this.... Although food network is my favorite so might just make me hungry lol... Maybe I'll re-watch Star Trek and pretend I'm a red shirt when running on treadmill

I got over my anxiety of thinking they would judge me because I don't look like a runner and went to get fitted for running shoes! Can't wait to try them out (and the experience of getting fitted was great and not something I should have been anxious about) Also realizing that I am now a person who owns different gym shoes…
