  • Nope no antibiotics. I am on this medication for a month. I was just told to stay away from spicy food and to eat frequently. I was wondering if the fat would help since it takes so long to digest. Might give the acid something to burn on that isn't my ulcer. Lol It's still busy forming they think - (because I haven't had…
  • They think it's a Duodenal Ulcer forming. I was going to get a endoscopy if the symptoms didn't improve with medication, but they did. My pain is unusual however. I have it above the bladder in my colon, and in my lower back where my kidneys are, which is exactly, ironically, where I usually get PMS pain too. Lol. They…
  • Agreed with Sunny. It takes some time to become fully adapted to it. (Like a few weeks...) Are you working out fasted or do you eat anything before? If not, you could try adding some of your calories to 30min before your workout. You could also try targeting the carbs you do eat to around that time.
  • I don't add it to chicken I eat the chicken on the side. Just add 1-2 scoops to a smoothie and then all the other stuff plus enough water for the right consistency. Depends on how much protein I want from it. 2 scoops of mine is usually 28g protein. Also, protein powder isn't for weight loss, it's just a protein…
  • Whey protein (because I like adding it to smoothies), eggs and chicken.
  • Pinterest has a lot of great smoothie recipes. Just remember you only need a calorie deficit to lose weight, you don't need to eat any 'special' foods. But obviously, if you enjoy smoothies, work them into your goals.
  • Nov 4th: 1. Exercise daily  just did some walking 2. Don't obsess over calories, 3. But don't stuff myself silly... - because I have an upset stomach, go figure. 3. Eat healthy, nutrient-dense meals - and those veggies! - nope, too much fibre to handle right now. 4. Drink enough fluids…
  • Yeah I like it. But it's no candy replacement for me. If I want something candy-ish I go with honey-coated nuts. Otherwise I just bake or make my own candy and tweak the recipe to my needs.
  • I wouldn't be able to do that. I can't even skip breakfast without feeling nauseous from hunger. I saw this week when I had to fast for blood tests. I sat in the restaurant and I guess my blood sugar/pressure dropped really quickly, and I felt really nauseous from hunger. The waitress came over to ask me if I was alright…
  • This is why I have no intention of getting married or having children. Nah, I'm married to the barbells at the gym. We have romantic, touchy feely time every day, and nobody ever complains about anything... They also make me look good in front of other people, they comfort all my sorrows, they deal with my anger, they give…
  • Breakfast - Smoothie bowl Post workout - Protein shake Lunch - Chicken salad Dinner - Beef Stir fry
  • Nov 3rd 1. Exercise daily  2. Don't obsess over calories, 3. But don't stuff myself silly... (munchies - the damn munchies) 3. Eat healthy, nutrient-dense meals - and those veggies! 4. Drink enough fluids  5. Weekly goal - Meal prep for the week  6. Stay away from the…

  • I'm with you on that one! Nuts are my weakness.
  • Yeah I'll run a full panel.
  • I'm still in. But, lol I'm not logging this week. Because I'm eating the same thing every day. Also because I want to stop obsessing so much. However, my water intake is most definitely more than 10 glasses (it's REALLY hot here), and ALL of my carbs come from fruit and veg. Protein should also be spot on at about…
  • Well since I failed last month I'll give this one a go. Again. Lol. So here are my daily goals - 1. Exercise daily 2. Don't obsess over calories, 3. But don't stuff myself silly... 3. Eat healthy, nutrient-dense meals - and those veggies! 4. Drink enough fluids 5. Weekly goal - Meal prep for the week 6. Stay away from the…
  • My carbs come mainly from vegetables, lentils, beans, quinoa, gluten free oats and buckwheat at the moment. I average about 100-120g total a day now. With most of them being around workout times. Hope it evens out, but for now, manna is helping me out tons.
  • I am yes. But still tired all the time. I've tried a few things to see if I can remedy it. But none have worked so far. I am currently adding plenty of nutrient dense foods to my diet in an effort to seriously bump up my nutrition. Also added B-complex vitamins. Haven't seen much improvement yet, but it's too soon to tell…
  • I have them both pre and post workout. But they still increase cravings. Although I'm also having some issues with fatigue (which is a problem of another nature that I'm still trying to figure out), it may be because of that as well. Working out could be putting more stress on an already tired body, and so it's seeking…
  • Tonight I'll be adding some epsom salts and some pink himalayan salt crystals to my bath water. I've also been taking Mag Phos tissue salts during the day. Not much more I can do sadly, they'll just have to recover on their own. I've tried ice skating before...yeah no. Lol I'll stick to walking because I sucked  I've…
  • Haven't checked in here in a while - haven't made much progress. But I finally have something to report... Even if it is a NSV. Yesterday my gym hosted a fitness challenge. The time limit on the challenge is 10 minutes to complete all the exercises - without rest. I finished it in 8 minutes exactly. And then I got slightly…
  • .... Mmm.... Actually I buy all kinds of healthy trendy foods these days... But they all actually taste great IMO. I've actually always liked the taste of 'healthy' food. Except goji berries. But they're okay in my quinoa breakfast bowl... Also don't like leafy greens. But they're good in smoothies.
  • 1 cup spinach Half avocado 1 tablespoon cocoa powder 1 scoop chocolate whey protein Chia seeds Some milk/water (depending on calories/carbs) Occationally I add berries too. And yeah some sweetener.
  • I was too flabbergasted by her comment to even be able to think of a suitable insult. Lol. But thanks! I kind of have to. My lack of vitality and energy is really irritating. Trying to add more variety and more nutrient dense foods to my diet to see if it helps any.
  • It's a wonder people in hospitals surviving on liquid nutrients aren't all dead yet...
  • I don't and didn't listen to it. Just have some curiosity as to how she makes sense of that in her head. As said above - it's common sense and logic. So wondering how she figured that.
