Personally I think it’s a waste of money and resources.

My current obsession is a bun-less cheeseburger smothered on caramelized onion with a dollop of sour cream. I could eat it for every meal.

5 oz burger and a slice of Colby jack cheese. 😉

If you want to avoid processed foods, buy whole ingredients and cook from scratch. My diet is mainly home cooked meals, but I don’t outright avoid processed foods. 🤷🏻♀️

I was bummed about that when I came back too. But not enough to open up my purse and pay for premium. 😉

I was able to put on my Ariat boots without my husband’s help. I guess I’ve lost some weight in my feet, they slipped right on. It’s usually a struggle. 🤪

I wouldn’t worry about it right now. Just try and stay hydrated and feel better soon. When I’m sick I make poached eggs on toast, it’s childhood comfort food for me. Also chicken noodle soup is always welcomed.

Same, MFP helped me get down to 180 about 6 years ago and I’ve been on and off multiple times since then but never made much progress. Now I’m starting to make some progress again. I have about 120 lbs to lose.

I’ve been avoiding sugar for so many months now that the Halloween chocolate bars did not tempt me in the least. Honestly, I look at stuff like that now just like I look at a cigarette. Would one sugary whatever be that harmful? No, of course not. If I really wanted something, I’d eat it and enjoy every darn mouthful. But…

Sure, if it’s sustainable and keeps you in a deficit that aligns with your goal. I would be starving on those 1000 calorie days, it wouldn’t be sustainable for me.

This may step on some toes here, but have you considered Overeaters Anonymous? They won’t give you food advice necessarily, but will help with coping skills to manage your triggers. Even fruit is a trigger for me, as I’m now learning. I have to keep my carb count very low in order to keep a check on my bingeing.

Are you using a food scale and logging accurately? Have you recently begun a new workout routine? (Can cause some water retention) Try eating less of your exercise calories back for a week and see if that helps. It’s still early days..

I think that means you’ve gone over.

Hi! Welcome.

My BMI has dropped from 48.7 (my highest ever) to 44.8. Inching my way down to one day be in the healthy category.

Ah, so more information, and now it makes sense. Are you working with a registered dietitian with your surgeon’s office as part of aftercare? They would be the people to speak with. Do you have a local bariatric support group that you connect with? As previous posters have said, adding one or two calorie dense foods you…

My husband has obstructive sleep apnea, he’s 6 feet tall and around 165. So for him, it’s purely anatomy. He’s used a cpap for 15 years and it’s made a huge difference in his quality of life.

I’m 5’3 and 150ish is my goal weight. I have 104 lbs to go… I can’t run at this weight because of arthritis in my ankles and I’d probably blow out a knee. I’m hoping as I shed some of this weight I can be more active again. Good luck!

Yes, if you’re on your food diary page, click on where it says Today. It should open up a scroll wheel date thing where you just pick the date you want to look at. I just looked back to 10/17/17 to see what I was eating.

I have very low thirst drive so I very rarely drink plain water, The bulk of my liquid comes from coffee and crystal light packets or mio drops, which I log as they aren’t completely calorie free.

I’m so sorry! I’m 10 years post hysterectomy and that sounds like a nightmare. I was given norco for pain, but I suppose they don’t do that anymore? Except for some bleeding my recovery was a breeze. Don’t force yourself to eat, but do aim for nutrients for healing. And the only thing that helped the gas for me was walking.

I was having the hardest time yesterday prelogging my meals for today, they just weren’t showing up. I deleted the app and then logged back in and all the food showed up on yesterdays list. I had 3000 calories worth of turkey and cheese lettuce wraps, which give you an idea of how many times I tried logging.

I’m trying keto this time around because once I start with carbs, I have a very hard time controlling my eating so I won’t say it’s an *addiction*, but carbs definitely set off my BED. Today is day three, and so far so good. I do have an electrolyte supplement, but my salt/potassium seems in check right now. If anyone…

Other than a range/oven the only gadget I have and use consistently is my crockpot. I have decent cookware, a sharp knife and my nana’s cast iron pans, including a giant 17 in diameter pan that I use as a roaster. I might add that I’m cooking for a family of five and my three kids are athletic and have huge appetites. So I…
