I need music to run. Real world running I have it on a low volume. On the treadmill it’s at max volume! There are a few songs on my playlist that give me that extra push.

I update mine weekly and check calorie allowance changes every 5 lb lost.

Most of the entries in the database are for 100g and as I had no clue on the weight of it I thought I’d ask to get a rough guide so I knew how many g to add. No entry is gonna be perfect, but it’s better than not counting it at all.

I bought these jeans from primark 4 weeks ago, size 14 and couldn’t get them over my bum. The scales haven’t shifted for the last 3 weeks which has been very frustrating but this proves to me that I am retaining water from being mid cycle and having increased my weights routine. So happy right now.

Why not just log your dinner the next day when you’re logging breakfast?

I have an official weigh at Boots on a Monday after the gym because that’s when I did my first weight check. I also weigh daily at home in the mornings and log on happy scale coz I am a bit of a data freak!

It’s synced to mfp. I don’t log any separate exercise. So where it shows the exercise calories that’s what I get. I’ve had my Fitbit versa for about 2 weeks now. So realistically I’m doing the right thing in only eating 3-400 of those calories back?

Yeah, negatives enabled. Sorry that should be 1026 exercise calories not 1200. Having a bad day lol

I’m also 5’1 and started at 208. My calories were 1420. I’ve lost 19lb in 10 weeks. Currently on 1340 calories per day.

Fitbit seems to do this at weekends lately! Be patient and it usually catches up.

I did Race For Life 5k yesterday! Only started on my weight loss/fitness journey on April 17th and didn’t start running (well jogging) till 5 weeks ago. I wish that I knew in my 20s what I know now! I’ve been “dieting” on and off for 22 years and it’s only now that I’m getting it! I’ve tried SW, WW, 5:2, slimfast.... wish I’d found MPF years ago. CICO is so easy to adapt to every day life. Loving it. 17lb down in 8 weeks.

I rarely used Instagram till I started my weight loss/gym journey a month ago. Now I like to post pictures mainly for myself. Only face shots for now coz the bod need hella more work yet. If people don’t like it, tough. It’s my instagram and I’ll post what I want!
