I just started a couple days ago--had muscle cramps & Keto flu, but not terrible. I drank pickle juice (on suggestion) which helped. Sodium levels should be kept up--it will help your electrolytes immensely. Read about Magnesium & Potassium levels in Keto if you haven't already. For me, staying below 20g carbs isn't too…

It's normal for ketones not to show in urine after a while, even while you're still in ketosis. It's actually a good sign. Here's a good link to why it stops showing up, as well as why it's normal to have weight loss stalls. https://m.reddit.com/r/keto/wiki/faq

You can friend me and look at mine if you want. :) I'm new to this too--so I'm still tweaking. There are a bunch of Keto groups on Facebook, as well as info on Reddit and YouTube videos.

I just kept changing my percentage until the grams were right. I do wish it would do net carbs, but it's not too hard.

Thank you so much!!! I did canned, smoked sardines on a salad today--with Parmesan & spinach my friend had. It's so great to have portable stuff on hand.
-
Excellent--I did just that--so much better that way!
-
Thanks! Yeah--I know it's not a big calorie burner, but it sure helps me feel better and stronger!

Excellent job!!!

This sounds delicious.

Wow--fantastic! (Such a great idea to pre-log--I hadn't thought about it, but when I've done that weight loss seems to happen more steadily. Much better than trying to remember or figure it out after the fact!)

Amazing! Fantastic job!

Fantastic job!!!

Costco has big bags of frozen veggies and frozen flounder fillets--very easy to toss in a nonstick skillet with some condiments & oil--cover & steam. The zucchini lasagna lasts in our family for a few days--and we can blend it up to serve for kids over premade pasta for a fast dinner. I also get ricotta & cheese & eggs at…

Saving for later--thanks!!!

Wow!!! You look amazing! Happy too--the most important thing!!!

Yes and no. My husband & I are usually regular drinkers. We go through periods of drinking more and less. My weight doesn't take a hit with drinking as long as I'm working out regularly. I can still log and not really count the alcohol calories and lose weight, as long as I'm working out. Otherwise, I gain and feel poorly.…

I suggest hiding your veggies by grating them in your eggs and scrambling them and topping with cheese. You won't taste the veggies as much that way. Same can be done with soups and spaghetti. You should check out almond milk--way better than soy milk.

Wow! Fantastic job! That's about what my original and goal weights are! (Though I'm 5'5"...)

In a couple weeks I noticed a change. I suggest measuring as well--your upper arms, upper thighs, waist, hips, chest. There have been weeks where I gained a little, but still lost in my waist (where I hold the most weight).

So off the gluten subject... Your real question might be... how do I get my weight loss back on track? I suggest checking out "Zig-zag diet". Lots of people on MFP have turned plateaus around, or successfully lost weight with it. Sounds like you've already upped your calories a bit. Try going back to what you were doing a…

My husband and I did a 20 day juice fast... and we both gained the weight all back, though it took about 4-5 months for my husband to gain it back. I gained it back in about 3 months. I have severe allergy issues (unexplainable hives--Chronic Idiopathic Urticaria) and the fast helped my condition, though I still get…

^^Interesting!^^ I work with some Aussies... who use a lot of different terms for things. It's fun! I would never have guessed squash to be a drink though!

Thanks for the tips! I'm 38-1/2 weeks now, so I'm going bra shopping soon! I've had sketchy luck with online shopping, so I'll be looking for these brands in stores where I can try them on!

I wonder if Mederma would work? See a dermatologist.

40 here--about to have my second kid in a couple weeks--the first is nearly 3. Been married 5 years--as soon as this baby's out of me I need about 2 months to get back to running and logging! If you can wait that long, add me! (I like to run 3-5 days/week, totaling about 20-30 mi/week.)

Check out SkinnyTaste.com for lots of categories. Also, I suggest reading Sugarbusters! to learn about the glycemic index. Just as a previous poster suggested, lots of simple carbs have the same effect as simple sugars on the body. You can get away with having higher sugars in some foods if the fiber (soluble/insoluble) is…

Check out LorinaLynn on MFP--she has great before/after pics--some with her at a lower weight, then at a higher weight with strength training, where her muscle tone is improved. Huge difference!
