There's nothing wrong with planning out your cals for the day because we all know how easy it is to go over our alloted amount, Remember to also watch your fat, and carb and sodium intake too those can also determine how you gain or lose weight. i try to find music that has a fast upbeat tempo for when i am doing the eliptical and treadmil, it helps me keep up my pace. I usually go to vh1 or mtv and watch the top 40 videos write down any of the songs i like and then go to You tube and grab the music out of the videos.

I have the same problem, though i wake up in the middle of the night and snack. Ugh i get so mad at myself for doing this! i dont ever go over my alloted cals, but its still frustrating, I wish id just stay asleep all night so i dont snack!
