Some friends and I just signed up for one in our area for 2012 too! The warrior dash website has a training program that is 12 weeks long to prepare you for it. We plan on starting that in May. I eat my cottage cheese the same as several of you. The only way I eat it that I haven't read is on a pile of lettuce with salt, pepper, spicy mustard, and a can of tuna. Very yummy!

Week 2 Day 2 completed! I make laps around my work, and do it on lunch break. On week one i was making 2.5 - 3 laps, week two day one was 4 laps and i am happy to say today i did 5 laps! (that's right at 2 miles) My pace is picking up!

It is a straight up full body cardio and so much fun to do! I would recommend going to www.zumba.com and finding a class. I started Zumba 2 months ago and have met some really amazing people!

Week 2 day 1 complete! I was actually looking forward to this run. I found the running easier than the walking though. My legs were screaming during the walk, and relaxed during the run. 28 mins and 256 calories =)

Oh! and week one day 3 completed! 25 mins and 264 calories. I was able to pick u the pace on the running this time.

I know that I have been having to "stretch it out" about 3 times a day since we started this to try to loosen up my muscles! If i sit still for too long and stand up I seem to hobble the first couple steps!

My head tried to talk me out of continuing all day yesterday and was VERY loud at 6am, but I did it! 25 mins and 204 calories!

I don't log normal everyday cleaning or cooking. But whenever I borrowed the carpet shampooer and broke a sweat for an hour I thought that counted!

I completed day 1! But when you have to get up an hour earlier than you are used to you forget about pesky things like heart monitors. Felt good though! =D

You can do this! My advice would be to measure everything that you eat and don't go back for seconds! Also a big help for healthy recipes is www.skinnytaste.com. Good luck!
