I think it is a personal judgement call, stop where you feel good. I am 5'3" and at 138# and had meant to stop at 140#, but there's still some pudge so I am going to try 135#. Had been at 133# a few years ago, but am losing more slowy this time around and my face got really thin that time. Sorry to not be more help!

Get started here, by using the tools to figure your BMI & BMR. Myfitnesspal will tell you how many calories a day. Can find lots of threads about good food and exercise. I am 46 and 5' 3" and am down 31# since Aug. 2011. Good luck.

Have the Braggs Apple Cider Vinegar sitting on my cabinet waiting! Must start using it. Something I have not heard mentioned here yet, is that you not drink it straight. Will take the enamel off your teeth and can cause throat irritation. Best to mix with water and sip through a straw. Keep the posts coming!

Small changes. If eating out alot., find which places, lik Applebees will keep you within your calories or get a to go box when you get your meal and pack up half! More water, less soda. Been taking them for a little over 2 weeks and have lost 3.6, which is pretty good because I only had a few more pounds to lose and have things set to lose a pound a week. I am about a 27 right now, hoping to get to 26. Rule of thumb is half your height in inches for waist size. Which for me is 26, lol.

Try doing a search for excess skin or something like that. I have read several different threads about that on here.

Have you measured? Of the scale is not moving a lot of times, inches are being lost. Give yourself kudos for meeting calorie and nutritional goals. Maybe just concentrate on getting enough liquids for the day. Hang in there, you did not gain the weight overnight and it will take some time to get rid of it again.
