Hey there! I also am enlisting in the Navy, hopefully as a CTI. Once I get the paperwork I need in, I'll be enlisting in about a month. I had to lose 35 pounds to get in, and I'm still hovering on that 'maximum' line. I wish you good luck, and drink TONS of water and very little salt. Doing those two things alone made me…

Hey there! I'm 23, and I've had a similar bout of anorexia when I was a teen. I recovered when I was 17, but once I got out of high school and started working in an office setting, I gained 55 pounds! Now I'm working my butt off to join the Navy. Welcome to MFP and good luck on your journey! :)

The BMI tool on most fitness and dieting websites don't account for measurements, height, and the like. The one that I use, that's so far been the most accurate, is this: http://fitness.bizcalcs.com/Calculator.asp?Calc=Body-Fat-Navy Hope it helps!

I lost 10lbs in my first week, but my body acts weird. I've done nothing besides change my eating habits and cut calories to the 1,200 minimum and I've lost 22 pounds in a month and a half.

Aww sweetheart, I'm sorry. I'm going to add you as a friend, okay? We have similarities there, I was in several abusive relationships and was always embarrassed about my stretch marks too.

I'd like to join also, if it's not too late?

I just bought it earlier this week and I'm going to try it out today. What have been you guys' results with it so far, weight/inches wise?

Hey there! Don't worry about feeling overwhelmed, it'll pass. When I first started, my head was spinning with all of the information, so I just would log my meals and weigh in every day. When I had a question, I'd either post it on the forums or scroll through to find out more information. This site's amazing though, it…
