I don't think being "skinny" was really my goal, I wanted to be healthier and improve my fitness. Being able to go for a six mile run when I'm stressed out has improved my coping skills. Being able to regulate my food intake and being conscious of what I eat has allowed me to feel control over my eating and body that I…

I eat a lot of protein to keep full and bump my calories up to close to maintenance. Drink a lot of water and go for a walk. If I still crave something sweet I eat dark chocolate or just work some ice-cream or whatever into my calories. It's no big deal.

Neither, give me a big ol' slab of beef.

Try to eat more, especially if you're working out, you need the fuel. If you have 10 weeks to drop the weight, losing 1.5lbs a week should be sufficient, and you can lose that eating more than 1000 calories at your current weight. I'm also a huge pro-wrestling fan, I went to a show by myself last weekend and I was really…

You just can't even make a bad post, can you? I love this.

Chinese food is very sodium heavy (I've lived in China and also now live in Japan) so you're probably retaining water. Drink water, get back on your logging and don't worry about such a minor weight fluctuation.

Well, they wouldn't eat processed stuff and then post a thread like this about how evil processed food is... That would make them a hypocrite! Right? I don't even like peanut butter or PB2, I'm in just for the lolz of someone telling me not to eat something because it's so "bad" for me. Especially someone that seems to be…

This is all great, I should have posted the sexypants link, too.

OP only eats "whole, clean food" clearly and therefore doesn't need to log. Dur.

It helps to take every single win as a huge victory. Lost a third of an inch on the tape measure? MASSIVE VICTORY! Stayed within your calorie goals for a whole week? MASSIVE VICTORY! Managed to walk for 45 minutes today instead of 40? HUGE MASSIVE VICTORY. Start measuring your success on many different scales, not just the…

Eating pop-tarts in the shower.

My exact thoughts.

This. I got chewed out by someone on my FL because I was complaining about feeling awful after a 10k run the other night... I've only been eating 1500 a day (5'8 167lbs) and 10k burns 600 calories for me. You're asking your engine to run on fumes, that's why you're running out of energy. I *still* feel crappy two days…

False, french fries taste better than skinny.

I would eat my couch.

It makes no difference, it is completely down to personal preference.

Well done, you look great!

Persistence. Taking the small victories.

I was 237 when I started, add me if you like :)

And this is how you do it.

I use the regular Zombies, Run! app when I'm not training for anything in particular. I'm close to finishing c210k so I will be returning to my duties as Runner 5 soon. I want to try the c25k version just for the story :x

Torso? Ice-cream? BACK IN, FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, IN!

You do not *need* to cut carbs, a 40,30,30 (c,p,f) split is perfectly fine for an active person.

Curious, to the people here that are doing the diet... Are you guys not just DYING for some fats? I would be rubbing myself against the butter at the supermarket.

Toasting in an epic bread. Keep it up.

That's very little food for your current weight, especially if you're working out. When I was 200lbs I was trying to get about 1600 net a day, eating most of my exercise calories landed me at eating nearly 2000 cals a day on workout days. You will find it a lot harder to maintain a healthy lifestyle on so little energy.…

Mind blown.
