You look amazing!! I started at 180 lbs and some days the thought of getting to 140 lbs seems way out of my reach. Then I look at your story, and realize how far you had to go, and I have HOPE! Thanks! :)

I totally agree, the show just isn't funny anymore, sigh...

OMG, you got that right! I couldn't do it all at once, I had to break it up, hopefully by the end of the week I'll get it in all one shot!

You look amazing! Way to go! :)

Those exercises look pretty good actually, thanks for finding them! I actually was kind of thinking the same thing about the abs, I actually did a few crunches last night, for the first time in maybe 5 years, lol. I totally agree about weeding out the members of the group who aren't really interested in participating. :)

Thant sounds like a great idea! :)

Well I tried the mile again today and got it at 12:09, and I'm most proud of the fact that I actually ran the WHOLE MILE without walking at all!! That is the first time I have ever done that!

Sure, I'll join!

I do think it exists, just not the way it is dicsussed here sometimes. However, I think that if you eat too few, or too many calories it will screw up your matobolism, making weight loss harder.

My hubby works out of town, 8 days away and then 6 days at home on days off. This week he is away, and I usually spend my time in the evening doing laundry or cleaning, but this week I have been reading a book, and I think I might actually finish it! That is a pretty big accomplishment since I havent done that in at least…

I've actually been reading a book this week. What I really need to do is to take the time to have a hot bath. I have lived in this house for almost 2 years, and we have a beautiful jacuzzi tub in our ensuite that has been used a total of 3 times. My oldest son got in a tried it once, I got in with my 2 little ones once and…

Awesome job! Keep up the great work!

Well I guess I overdid it a bit on my out of shape body. The 3 days of jogging resulted in an extremely bad back, who would have thought. So I can't exercise at all because I can barely stand up. :( I also have the beginning signs of a cold, sore throat , headache, etc, so I just feel crappy all over. I had a bad eating…

So, I forced myself to give it a go again this morning with our challenge, although I really did not want to, lol. And, yet again I beat my time, I came in at 13:21, yay!

Wow! That's fantastic!

That is so awesome!! I hear ya on the burpees, I looked at the video and thought "no thanks", lol!

I think the names all the same color would be good. I think the quote is fine (or at least true), but I've always feel inspired when I hear Jillian Michaels quote, "Why choose to fail when success is an option?" Just an idea!

My vote is for the second one. :)

So I know that this weeks challenge isn't something that we have to update daily, but I'm going to bore you all with my progress anyways, lol. Yesterday was my 1st attempt at the challenge and my mile came in at 14:43, today I decided to push myself and I made the mile mark at 13:36! I am super happy with an improvement of…

Both me and my husband are trying to get in shape. I've told him my number, but he is keeping his number a secret from me!
-
So today I made an attempt with this weeks challenge. I jogged or ran for 10 minutes and then I slowed to a brisk walk, I finally made the 1 mile mark at 14:43. Slow I know, but I know I will get better and hopefully by the end of the week I will actually doing the full mile without walking!

I can now wear my wedding ring again without it making my finger sore from being too tight!

For me, I had to be honest with myself. I've been the past 3 years making every excuse in the book as to why the diets weren't working. When in reality, the reason they weren't working was the fact that I wasn't sticking to it. Don't get me wrong, I've only got 2 weeks under my belt, but so far I have been eating healthy…

Well, I totally flaked on this challenge because I saw push ups and I just thought FORGET IT, lol. I didn't even think to modify them. Oh well, I'll be back full force on Monday with the new challenge. Oh, and my weigh in day is today, and, I'm down 3 lbs this week, for a total of 5 lbs in 2 weeks, yay!

This actually sounds really good!

I started 2 weeks ago at 180 lbs and MFP only gives me 1200 cal as well. I only eat more if I earn more cal by exercising. I really don't think I'd loose anything if I ate any more than this.
