I am back too. Just got adjusted to the stress of having a real job now, on shift night 12 hours D: Add me!

ghirardelli chocolate.... dark sea salt and caramel is the worst for me.
-
My starting weight was 206 and I am 5'4, my limit is 1600 but I never actually get that, normally it is around 1500. I have lost 11 pounds in 35 days. I don't eat exercise cals back either, I am doing the TDEE - 20% method. 1500 should be fine.
-
If you put that on a bread.... it is like... a Reese's sandwich!!!!

Been on here since 2011, always quit within a few weeks. I came back December 14th. I came back because it was time to get serious about this. I just finished nursing school, I was applying for hospital nursing jobs and I felt being an obese RN was.... hypocritical.... Plus 12 hour possible night shifts, it is time to get…

Reddit has a large loseit community, which is also mixed with MFPers. Add me! :D

I was just kidding about the friends being the reason for my falling of the wagon! :)
-
Lost 4 pounds o.O I probably barely overate on christmas, didn't log, and kept to my normal workouts.
-
Don't see how it is even possible to log.... If your Christmas dinner is made up of a very small amounts of food from like 10 different homemade dishes... how in the world do you log that? I just plan to eat super light in the morning and and not worry about dinner. Still going to workout.
-
Technically it would, but it would most likely be a very very small amount. Your body expends more energy when sick trying to heal you.
-
I won't be. It is just 1 day and holiday, so why not skip it? Plus everything will be homemade and there will be lots of different stuff, would be a real pain to try to figure it all out. Still going to work out though :)
-
Your BMR is just what you expend daily no matter what. Add in a sedentary lifestyle plus any/if any activity and thats your TDEE. She does not need to skip anything, she is already at a deficit. If she laid in the bed the whole day and did nothing then you would be right.

I use power 90 and Dance Dance Revolution sometimes.

Add me guys. Also back on the wagon again, started today, would love to some support and to help support!

I have increased wheat in my diet recently. Since then my gut issues have disappeared. Before I was having a lot of fat in my diet, that seemed to have caused my issues.
-
38DD here. I found a pretty nice one at target that works well for me, and not too pricey.
-
Which completely defeats the purpose of the OP being on this site. "Yeah! go overeat again!" instead of teaching the OP ways to increase food intake by not resorting to what put the weight on in the first place.... -_- Not a good idea. Also, overeating can be an eating disorder.
-
Idk about the OP but before I came here I was eating A LOT of fast food, which is where the weight came from. I am sure you are not suggesting that OP go grab a thickburger from hardee's to make up for missing calories are you? It may not be hard to you, but it probably is for the OP. They are probably thinking they have…

I eat Chobani Raspberry 0% everyday! I have tried quite a few greek yogurts and Chobani is my fave. (I hate their lemon kind though)

Pretty surre watching Cujo at a very young age is why big dogs kinda scare me....

Lovely post! I just cannot agree with this last part though. Love the rest though :) Me eating until I was no longer hungry made me obese in the first place, being obese is not healthy at all. MFP has been pretty much been the only weight loss tool to work for me. I also just feel better when I am more aware of what I eat.…
-
Haven't really read the thread much... but going to point out that many of these fast food places have value menus. So when you compare eating healthy to the most expensive thing at McDonalds, it doesn't work out that well. For $1 each you could have a McDouble, McChicken, small fries, etc from McDonalds. So if you are…

I lost 1 pound at 190 now and lost 0.5% body fat. Which is really awesome since I kinda fell off the wagon for 3 days last week.
-
Oh yes we do. I ate so badly the other probably like 2500 calories.... but one bad day doesn't undo all the work you do, and it doesn't mean tomorrow has to be bad either. I used to be like "Well I derailed my whole diet with a single bad day, no way I can possibly eat right tomorrow!" and then I fell off the wagon for…

Oh I agree! 1200 isn't something you want to do for a long time. I am not on 1200 anymore, upped it a bit. .
-
*shrug* it may have not worked you, but you missed my edited part it does work for a lot people, not saying it works for everyone who has a a lot to lose.
-
Not true, depends how overweight you are. I did 1200 for awhile with no problems at all as have many others here. In my fact, my doctor asked was I was doing because my numbers improved so much (BP, choles, etc) after doing it for a month.
