  • Think everybody goes through this sort of stage. It's more just make sure you pick yourself up after a bad day and don't continue on the behaviour. Plus not beating yourself up for it :)
  • Sounds like this guy is an arsehole. You want to lose weight for yourself, not for him! By taking care of yourself you'll realise your own self worth and then you will realise that you don't need a guy like that :)
  • My other half has only been doing it for 6 months now, so hopefully we will get into a better routine... My partner definitely drinks more now that he works away but luckily that doesn't effect me what so ever as I'm not much a drinker anymore. I think that's a brilliant idea to do a monthly weigh in instead of weekly and…
  • I guess all I can try and do is make sure I head to the gym on the week that he's down, at least if we do eat out it won't make such a big impact like the last time!
  • That's disgusting and I'm really sorry that happened to you... I got bullied too throughout the years, but then I hit back against them and stopped caring and they stopped.. I do think though, that sort of stuff makes you stronger :)
  • You don't need a gym membership to work out. Go for a walk, do that jillian michaels shred.... there's HEAPS you can do! :) And results will come... it just takes time!
  • I hate burpees too which is why I have gotten most of them out of the way. Really keeping a tab on the sodium level really makes a massive difference! I have been doing a cleanse over the past few days, just mainly fruit and veggies and no caffeine I am feeling quite good for it :) Unfortunately I couldn't get any exercise…
  • My apologies ladies for not updating - I'm all over these challenges this week! Did my burpies in my lunch break! Going for a walk tonight straight after work and have actually started a detox today. Breakfast consisted of blueberries, raspberries and spinach all blended Lunch - sausage casserole with brown rice Dinner -…
  • A couple of hundred calories in the big scheme of things isn't that bad, just make sure that it's not on a daily basis that you're doing it :) No point in worrying too much about it, it'll just stress you out and that in itself can hinder your weight loss!
  • Well on my way to making todays fruit and veggie thing! Included tomato with my ham toastie for breakfast, lunch I had chicken with peas, carrots, olives and half a tomato. :) Had watermelon for a snack and planning on fish and veggies for dinner! :) Hope everybody is doing well!
  • I also am not sure where the new motivation matters is? :) Sorry I have only really used this on my phone so can't navigate the site that great :p
  • I had asked charlotte to add my weight in, I am 100.9 kilos. (221.98 pounds)
  • It's so easy to get the serves of veggies per day, Especially if you make it a rule to include them with every meal.. For people that don't like the taste of veggies or whatever, include them in casseroles/bolognese/chowmein anything like that.
  • I think heaps of people have desk jobs these days... but it's nice to get out for a lunch time walk and meet up with friends who work at different offices... Also I make sure that if I don't get to the gym in the morning before work, I go straight after or have organized some form of exercise.
  • You sound quite simliar to me with goals (although I want to get to 68) personality and the exercises you'll be doing. I'm turning 30 this year... but I'm definitely not one to act my age. we can be buddies if you like? :)
  • It could be a sign of diabetes
  • Thanks ! Yeah I'm definitely more conscious of eating more fibre these days! It's one thing I took away from it! I think in moderation and a high fibre diet, I could probably still enjoy my berry smoothies without too much trouble!
  • It's all kind of just pushing yourself when you dont feel like doing it. Even if you don't feel like exercise once and you make some kind of deal with yourself to get it done. Then you feel fantastic afterwards and it goes on from there. :)
  • Although I didn't breastfeed for very long, I have just returned to work and my baby girl is 8. For me, getting fit is a top priority. I find doing it in the mornings is the easiest, so it doesn't cut into my time with bub after work. Trust me, it's hard juggling full time work, then squeezing in cooking/cleaning and…
  • Yeah my favourite foods are like tomatoes, strawberries and raspberries. I've just learnt to cut out the seeds of the tomatoes, but it's a bit hard with the strawberries and raspberries... From what I got told, it's just stuff that your body can't break down by itself.... I haven't really avoided much as yet, mainly just…
  • I'm turning the dreaded 30 in a few months! I need to lose a fair bit more than you, but if you want to add me, can never have enough positive support!
  • Am fine to post here... When does this challenge start?
  • How can you be too heavy to do a diet?!
  • Congratulations on taking the first step :)
  • How about the Sisters Thin? :P I'm looking forward to it, all the motivation we all need :)
  • Hi guys :) I am almost 30 and a mother of one from Perth, Australia... if either of you would like to add me, please feel free! :)
  • Good luck :) If you have sugar all the time and suddenly give it up you will have adverse affects... you will probably feel tired and headachey for a few days then you'll be ok :)
  • Congratulations for getting out of the relationship - I too have gotten out of a abusive relationship in the past so kudos to you for finding the strength! Don't give the nutella away, just limit how often you have it :)
  • Hi all :) I currently have my reason for doing the weight loss sitting near me. I have always been overweight but I dont want to be anymore! I want to set a good example to my daughter so she grows up healthy too :) I have just always been full of excuses, or give up too easy. But this time I have stuck with it so far and…
  • Hi all :) So this week I only lost 0.2 kilos (0.4 pounds) but I haven't really had much time to do anything as I'm going on holidays next week then back to work after being on maternity leave *sigh* This week I plan on losing a kilo before leaving for holiday.. Will get to gym at least 4 times before I go. I'm lucky they…
