Constant dry mouth...

I drink roughly 96 oz of water a day and still have dry mouth. I am recovering from bronchitis and pnemonia but I still get in all my water every day. Does anybody have this problem? I did a quick google search and read up a little and some of the causes are quite scary. I have a follow up apt next Monday and was going to just ask my doctor then but was wondering if anybody else has gone through the same thing. Any suggestion to help until I get to the doc Monday?

I take a medication that one of the side effects is constant dry mouth. Could that be a possibility? (Also, I know a lot of cold medicines make me extremly dry. If you're just getting over bronchitis and pneumonia, it definitely could be one of the meds for these, if you're taking them.) Your doc should be able to put your mind at ease when you see him.
