There is such a thing as overkill - and he looks it.

Hello everyone! I'm looking for someone with whom to actively communicate, possibly via email rather than just here. I would love to pal up on a more active level than just commenting on your achievements. If you need more than just the occasional "well done", I'm here. I will be very supportive.

Hi, I'm Rosemarie, I live in Southeastern PA but I"m originally from South Jersey. I'm 57 and really looking forward to this. I'm a retail associate part time, also a student and a writer.

Many years ago, I quit smoking. I was 25. I lost 5 pounds. But I starved myself doing so.

I will try as hard as I can to be here for you. I've been a real slacker but it's time to get going. 57 years old originally from South Jersey now in Pennsylvania near Philadlephia. Baguettes rock.

I am not sure if I am peri, post or whatever, since I had a hysterectomy years ago. But it sure feels like I'm still in menopause. Would LOVE to get to know you.

I'm here for you. Please add me.

I'm here if you want to add me!

From near Philadelphia, originally South Jersey. I'm here.

I'm here - old enough to be your mom, but I'm actually kind of fun. If my age doesn't bother you, I'm here for you.

With much respect, Alan Carr's Easy Way did absolutely NOTHING for me. But it's definitely helped many others.

PS I could never do the aerobic exercise I do unless I smoked electronic cigarettes. They do not crush your lungs like the analogs because they contain only nicotine and not the other ingredients. Think of electronic cigs as a sophisticated nicotine replacement system, much like the patch. You get the nicotine but none of…

The only way I could be analog free and lose weight is to go electronic. I love my electronics and won't give them up until I lose the rest of my weight. I recommend trying a disposable at first to see how you like it, then HIGHLY recommend the eGo Brand. http://tomsvapor.com/shop/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=1_40 I…

Of course it counts. That's really hard work.

Thanks for all the quick responses. I'm just looking for a weight loss buddy who might be able to discuss writing as well. That's all. You all sound extremely interesting. I'm a writer but not yet an author. I will be, though. PM me if you want a weight loss buddy.

Now that I'm older, yes. I feel I need one on all the time.

He's not the worst, but Dr. Zhivago annoyed the hell out of me. He was so "sensitive" that he was basically rendered ineffectual.

I was born ravenous. And I've stayed that way. I was the "fat twin". When I was born, I weighed 5 lbs. My twin sister weighed 4. My grandmother said, "Look at her, she's so fat!" My father said he got angry and said, "For chrissakes, Mom, she's only 5 pounds". However, the name stuck and I was always plump. And always…

I cannot tell you how pleased I am with Leslie Sansone's Walk At Home DVDs. They are wonderful! They can be done at home. She does use weights on some DVDs, and if a resistance band is required, it's usually included with the disk. I was out of shape so this program rocked for me. I am up to 3 miles now and my arms look…

Great post. Excellent points. Thanks.

Why does everyone lose inches except me????? ;(

PS I have arthritis too. I really think you should look into one of Leslie's DVDs. Get a cheap one on Amazon. I think you'll really like them. She talks too much but I ignore her. The workouts are very easy and won't injure you but involves many muscle groups. You can do it at your own speed.

Hello and welcome! I don't go to a gym either - I could go to the gym at college but I prefer not to. I'm too old to be hanging around the young student. LOL I have only been here a short while. I have fibro. I have started using Leslie Sansone's Walk Away The Pounds DVDs and they are wonderful! I love them. I do about 15…

In and of itself, no. There are some great articles out there on protein and diet. Why don't you Google some? Just be wary of sources like Yahoo Answers and bulletin boards. Always go to reliable sites like WebMD or The Mayo Clinic.

Great post. My husband is a chemist and I asked him about Truvia. He said that nasty things could be done to it during the processing which might negate the fact that it comes from a plant. Who knows anymore? I should probably learn to drink my tea unsweetened.
