I realized there are two Venus programs out there! Venus Factor and Venus Index. haha. I'm using the Venus Index which doesn't require any purchases of supplements, just diet/exercise plan.

I use a heart rate monitor that shows how many calories I burn during a workout and usually enter that number into the "strength training". I use the polar ft4 HRM. Like, today I completed venus workout in 30 minutes and burned 260 calories. :)

Woot! I'm on week 2 and lost 3 lbs so far....I have a trip to Hawaii in 6 weeks so I'm going to try hard and lose 10 lbs or so before my trip!

1. I wouldn't say "addicted" but I do LOVE cheese (on everything!), which is why I stopped buying it. 2. I hate the squishiness that is covering up my muscles. (but I'm working on it).

Congrats!!! You look great! Keep up the great work, you will make it to your goal. :)

Feel free to add me, I also log daily and interact with friends. Just as long as you're not a food Nazi and don't mind if I eat 1200 calories or less a day. I'm trying to lose 20 lbs (goal weight is 150 lbs). :-)

I use Polar FT40, it shows your heart rate, displays calories burned, you can enter goals and stuff but I mostly use mine for the calories burned. http://www.polarusa.com/us-en/products/improve_fitness/fitness_crosstraining/FT40

There are two girls in my class who eat every 3 hours, workout every day, and they ALWAYS complain how they are hungry all the time and how they want to lose weight. I skip breakfast, eat lunch and dinner and only consume 1200 calories or less, I workout every day and I'm never hungry....perhaps you're eating too much?…

If he has knee problems, perhaps you should pick an exercise that would fit both of you. He probably could go bike riding, which would have low impact on the knees. Or weight lifting would be good. I've been with my boyfriend for 3 years and I FINALLY got him to go to a gym with me (and even without me!). We made a bet,…

Well.....one thing about renting is that its flexible and can be cheap if you have a roommate. If you're both done with college, started a career and you don't have to move for any reason. Then go for it.

Celebrate SAD instead ("Singles Awareness Day!") lol. Much better than celebrating V.D. (hahahaha.......I hope someone gets the joke).

There are always two sides to every story...... I don't know his side of the story or even your side of the story so I cannot give any opinions or advice. Your question is too vague and not everything is "black and white", sometimes there are "gray" areas you have to examine.

I usually plan my day around special occasions/eating out at restaurants....I usually skip breakfast and/or lunch, or eat really light (ex: apple) so I can pig out at dinner and not have to worry. I know there are some food Nazi(s) who would disapprove, but this is just what I do. Just find what works best for you to…

Yeahhhhh, no thanks. I'd rather enjoy my food, watch my portions, and workout at the gym instead. Thank you very much! :)

This is what "I" do which works for me...I found out my BMR and decreased it by 25%. So I'm eating about 900-1200 calories a day to keep a calorie deficit. If I don't exercise, I eat closer to 900, if I do exercise, I eat closer to 1200. You have to find a balance. I also partake in intermittent fasting, which helps keep…

Yeah, every scale is different. My bf parent's scale says I'm 8 lbs heavier....that's why you only weigh yourself with the same scale. The best way to measure progress is through inches. You could be working out, lifting weights, and weigh the same but be losing inches instead of lbs. (decreasing body fat percentage)

I'm a 1200 (+ or -) girl! Feel free to add me.
