this is going to sound silly--but what are the rules?!!--i can do about 5k on the treadmill at a medium jog amongst loads of fast walking up gradients!--i do about an hour a gym visit on the treadmill approximatyely 3 times a week--25k would mean i would do more visits!

maintenance is 2100 the system reduces to 1600 to loose 3500 calories a week to loose 2lbs --if your loosing at such a high rate you could be in starvation mode but takes some doing because i got by on about 800 calories with a goal rate on here of 1200 and i never lost muscle--but we are all different!!

i am definately a marathon type--even paced and endurance--the only time i get lower than my 70kgs is by excessive gym work and not eating back the calories--the gym work is lots of cardio but not sprints. 1508 is your bmr if you stay in bed all day--basically just breathing(and snoring)--general activity will take this bmr up to 2008-500 is adjudged the daily average--so by eating your 1400 calories you are losing about 600 cals a day x 7 days a weekis 4200 --a lb of fat is 3500 cals so its roughly correct
