  • I would stick with what the doctors said. but remeber to drink A LOT of water. You need it for the milk and to stay from being dehydrated. Take your multivitamin. I don't know when you strt ted breastfeeding but you'll know your losing because you will be hungry all the time. and i mean all the time. It is really difficult…
  • I guess the easiest thing to do would be to talk about his hobbies and dislikes. Find f you have something in ccommon and work from there. As far as initiating FIRST contact. Depends on the guy. I always scope my guys out from adistance first ( lightly stalk). Ask questions of mutual friends, classmates. Look at the way he…
  • Id do two thirds. That way I know Im still eating enough. Also don't worry bout exercise. That's taking it a little too far.
  • Eat to maintain for about a month or two and then decrease calories slowly. You shouldn't decrease any calories under 500 of what your maintenence is.
  • Hey Im looking at you and you look amazing. Im not sure what weight you actually want to be. Maybe it' not a plateeau, maybe it's what size you should be?
  • Look up plateau in the search.
  • Maybe try eating back half your cal. Remember all cals as well as exercise is an estimate. Also I agree with measuring once a week until you see whats working. And 600 cals seem like a lot1 What exactly are you doing/
  • I happen to agree with you. If I eat 'fake products' I am never fully satiated and then tend to binge and over eat. So while his might work for you, your foods are more nutrient rich including actual fat. Here's my example... I can drink 3 diet sodas at once but when i pick up a regular soda it's hard to drink the hole…
  • Yeah i do the hot chocolate with whipped cream and a tsp of sugar.........SO delicious ....150 cals and I really feel good about it.
  • It doesn't matter how long you are gone. Always come back. This is for you and no one else. If you're having a bad week have a bad week. If you can stick to this thing 20 out 0f 31 days a month you are already doing better. The counting calories can be boring, hopefully after you hit maintenance you won't have to. And…
  • I agree with the person above. I have two twin girls age 7. I make them eat their vegetables. But I also reward them with dessert when they also eat half of their meat and veggies. Dessert can be an apple, orange, yogurt, popsicle, piece of candy, whatever. Sometimes they still won't eat. At that time they know that their…
  • I want you to listen to your doctor. But remember around the beginning up the fourth month you should up your calories by 200-300 calories mainly carbs and protein. The fat hopefully will come from your body. Baby's utilize different things during different stages. At the end, you can eat a diet of mainly protein because…
  • Bump for later.
  • I think its taking age into consideration. The older you get the less you needs to eat. Fill up with fuits and veggies. My aunt eats about 1000 calories a day. She is 54. She's never hungry. I would die. Your body is very efficient. Give it a month and see how it works. Their are no appetite suppresants but your stomach…
  • I average 1-3lbs. if I cave in to cravings it can go up to 5lbs.
  • Dark chocolate. Or just treat myself to a bag of chips. Usually I add dessert a cup of hot chocolate with whipped cream. YUM. They aren't a waste as they satisfy my bad food cravings.
  • You might go over for sure. But don't sweat. I m happy if I only go over once a week. besides I think it lets your body know that its not starving. Itll so okay we were just on restriction but were still eating. Its not that bad. Eat a salad with some grilled chicken and you'll be fine. Also take a walk for 20-thirty…
  • Didn't see anything until week two, but I have 50 something lbs to lose. With less to lose it's going to be harder. Did you set yourself at a lb each month or less?
  • Ignore it. Focus on carbs. try making ratio 40/30/30 Carb/ Fat/ Protein. It should be easier. Also make sure most of your carbs are complex/
  • If you have been eating healthy all week before usually the cravings are less. Blood sugar levevled maybe? I also add two pieces of doves darks chocolate and lots of water nip it in the bud.
  • 1. weekends.....I like to make last minute changes and don't have internet at home so I cant check MFP. 2. conferences/trainings/meetings.....never know whats on the menu and refuse to bring my own, and its FREE! 3. Chinese food ( I can't have it, all the low cal dishes suck!
  • That's water weight and not the point. LOL. Smarta**
  • Your counting your calories right. But you are over everytime. The scale isn't going to move on its own. If you are a chef you probably love food. But part of being a chef includes being creative. Expeiriment and see what you like. Keep within your guided calories and you should have no problem. I just started here. My…
  • Thank you very much. :smooched:
  • Sorry, I looked at your journel. You are consistently over your goal. Weightloss does not happen in one day. Going to the bathroom has no effect on the scale. Sorry.
  • Oscar Mayer- 35 calories a slice.......just saying. Me and bacon have a commited relationship.
  • Feel free to add me. How much are you trying to lose?
  • Rest.... No exercise except walking to what you feel comfortable. Listen to your body. Ifits hungry feed it. Stick to liquids. Don't look at the scale and wait it out.
  • Grapefruit diet eggs and bacon for breakfast, all meat and no carbs except leaves ( cabbage romaine, greens, kale, etc) and of course the grapefruit. Lost weight pretty fast at about 3-4 lbs a week but couldn't stick to it. Verry expensive to only eat meat!! But OMG was it fun, grease and fat all the way! LOL!
  • Me too, 4 lbs a month is all it takes we can do this!!!
