  • I can totally understand where your coming from. The only time I'm self conscious about working out in front of my husband however is if I do a workout video at home. Like 30 Day Shred or Zumba or something like that. I definately don't want him watching me do that, lol. But if I'm running, or doing weights or anything…
  • Welcome!! I'm from Southern Indiana as well. This site is great and there are loads of very supportive people on here, you will love it :)
  • Thank you so much everyone for all of your advice and information. I knew I wasn't just worrying over nothing, lol. I see my PCP next Thursday for an annual check up so I will call them and add this problem to my appointment so he can check it while I'm there. I am really hoping it is just stress, like one person said, I…
  • Soooooo excited for this!! I can't wait.
  • I drink them, I hate the kiwi strawberry too. It's gross! But the Pink Lemonade is really good. I drink it a couple times a week and they do seem to curb the hunger.
  • Completely agreed!!! It is sooo frustrating.
  • I'm glad it's not just me! I seem to yawn the entire time I work out, rather it's Zumba or running, lol.
  • I did the C25K program too. Mine ankles hurt a little bit in the beginning but then it was mosty my kness and shins. I talked to a couple people on here and they told me to stretch before and after jogging and that really did help a lot. And also had a glass of milk a while after running. That and I went and got some…
  • I had that problem too. Then when I got to I think it was week 3, the first 3 minute run, I though it was a joke. I thought I was going to DIE!! But you just keep pushing at it and I graduated the program and keep on truckin'. You can do it!!
  • I have no advice girl, I just wanted to say you are a beast!! Man, I strive for your dedication :)
  • Oh, that sounds really good! I doubt what he's got is that healthy, lol, we got it at WalMart. I'm not sure how many kinds they carry. I'll have to look at it when I get home.
  • I've decided I'm going to run the Race For The Cure here in September this year. I was planning on running one this past weekend but I just was not ready yet. So I figured now I have several months to train and get prepared. No special diet, just watching calorie intake and running every other day.
  • Absolutely!! I was hoping I wasn't the only one who thought that, lol. It's crazy how different people can wear the same weight as someone else on their body.
  • Thank you guys all so much. You are all very inspiring! It's great to see different perspectives and recommendations. I'm more excited to start running outside now. I am just anti-cold weather, lol.
  • I can definately see where it would feel like making more progress since your actually moving. I'll try it when it warms up a bit outside. And wow, it's weird how your body can change your prefrences like that, lol. Crazy. Thanks!
  • Mine is open. And trust me.....I eat! lol. I always feel like I eat more than others too, but I'm losing weight and exercising, so I'm ok with it. Feel free :)
  • I like this. I get that too. People are like "Oh I see, your a runner, that explains it", Not the 9 months I spent watching what I eat and working out, lol. It's kinda hard to tell someone to just watch what you eat and exercise, you'll see results too. I became a runner in December and I love every minute of it :) I may…
  • Welcome!! It's a great site that provides sooo much help. And a lot of motivation too. Great people you'll find on here :)
  • I started the C25K at 300 lbs. At first it was really really rough, but the walking definately helps. Make sure to always stretch before AND after walking or running, that will keep you from getting as sore. And speed walking is always good too to start out instead of all out running. I always wanted to become a runner too…
  • That's wonderful!!! Keep that momentum up girl!!
  • I track Cals, Fat, Protein, Fiber, Sugar and Sodium. I watch sodium like a hawk. I find it very hard to stay under my sugar, but I try really hard and really keep an eye on it too.
  • I am on Week 5 right now and I weight 270. So it can be done :) It was a little rough at first, honestely thought I was gonna DIE! But if you stick with it and always make sure to stretch, you can do it. Just stretch before and after and you got this!! :)
  • I LOVE it. I started Week 5 last night. I remember in Week 1 I thought I was going to DIE!! But if you keep at it and make sure to stretch before and after, you can do it. :)
  • I'm starting Week 5 today when I get off work. Nervous about W5D3 lol, but I'm gonna keep at it!!
  • I'm working on re-doing Week 3 right now. Since gorging myself at Christmas and not working out at all for a few days, Week 4 was impossible. I tried day 1, but I couldn't even get through the first 3 min run. So I re-did W3D1 last night and made it. I got a new treadmill for Christmas too and it runs a little different…
  • W3D1 complete yesterday!! On to day 2 tomorrow. Will do some Zumba tonight. I thought that 3 minute run was gonna KILL me but I made it, lol.
  • Still going strong!! Did W3D1 yesterday. I thought my legs were gonna turn to jello and shoot me off of the treadmill during the second 3 minute run, but I did it!! On to D2 tomorrow. :)
  • I loooooove me some biggens. lol. My hubby is 6'4" and a big boy. I couldn't imagine being with a skinny man, I'd feel like I was gonna crush him or something. He's almost a foot taller than me and gives big ole' bear hugs. Love it!!!
  • That podcast that Robert does is soooo helpful! The music on it is great and he's very encouraging. I signed up for a 7K that's in March, so, here's to us all!! :)
  • I'm starting Week 2 today as soon as I get off work. I'm pumped!! :)
