  • Hello. Same weight and I work in the West Mids (Bham) :)
  • Last year I was exercising 3 times a day training for a triathlon. I loved it - it was difficult for me to take a rest day. This year I have done very little! Work has got busy and I don't have the motivation. I don't like this me! It is strange how we change - perhaps you need a source of motivation - a race or something…
  • The reason I had mine taken out :( loved it at first until that happened.
  • yeah defo loggable!
  • I got to 140 the year before last and although at the time I didn't realise it that was good for me (i still insisted i wasn't happy with my weight then!!). God how I wish I was back at this weight now!!! I did lose a few pounds more probs 136 but friends started telling me that wasn't a great look. I have quite prominent…
  • I restarted again this week and log on here still (although I seem full on SW the calories are lower than I'd have thought and i'm still in MFP limits). I make a note in the diary logging HeA, B, and syns so I don't lose count.
  • I lost 2.5 stone on SW a few years ago very easily and it stayed off until last year when in defiance I decided to ditch good eating rules and eat all those foods id previously considered bad. So I'm back on it this week and excited about the results. The two times I've started it from scratch I lost 10lbs and 7lbs in the…
  • Hey i follow it. Went to classes a few years ago but think I know enough to do it from home now.
  • I wouldn't say its as vigourous as real dancing. I have the same problem though...
  • I REALLY LIKED THIS BOOK TOO. I WAS VERY INTERESTED IN THE FRENCH FALLACY AND SIMILAR BOOKS BY WILL GLOWER. INTERESTING BUT QUITE SPECIFIC AND RANDOMLY SUPPORTING MORE FAT IN THE DIET
  • REALLY LOVE THIS JUST FINISHED DAY 1 AND ITS A NAUGHTY NICE WORKOUT - THE NAUGHTY = IT HURTS, THE NICE = IT DOESN'T LAST FOREVER... WELL DONE EVERYONE!
  • I HAVE JUST FINISHED MY FIRST WORKOUT WITH IT - THE RESULTS POSTED ON HERE ARE GREAT AND ALTHOUGH ITS 20 MINS OF TOUGH WORK IT'S SOON OVER AND YOU FEEL GOOD - TRY IT THERE'S PLENTY OF SUPPORT FOR IT ON HERE. X
  • At first when I read this I thought yeah peeps are jealous but on seeing your food diary you are having quite a few days where you eat less than 1000 cal (unless you're just not logging everything). You do look good on your profile pic but please don't take it too far, make sure you stay in a healthy range and stay…
  • I fitted in some brick sessions - had a little scare when i found my legs way deader than usual bike to run. I also used it to practice transitions - getting kit in order, practicising ways to make them quicker.
  • me too arrived y'day
  • i'm kind of in the same boat - however, maybe you could relax your goal for a week or two to make sticking with it easier. or focus on another goal for a week or so like getting plenty of fruit and veg in. x
  • I've lost 11lb on MFP in 3 weeks following the 1200 calories (first two weeks lost 10lb) last week I was a little naughty. Lots of peeps on here talking about Gillian Michaels 30day shred - might help to lose some inches too. x
  • It's in the post so should arrive for then!:)
  • I got into taking a lollipop - it lasted for ages and was less calories (50) than others alternatives.
  • Don't get too down - you've done great so far!! Ideas: -Maybe play around with your intake - sometimes i set my target calories for a 1lb a week loss (1440cals) at others I set it for 2lb (1200cals). I don't know yet if this works but I've read a lot of theories about keeping your body guessing (cycling or zigzaggin i…
  • I'm doing neither currently and kicking myself for it! But I would say if I could make my local Zumba class I think I'd stick at it as there's a commitment to go especially when you start knowing people there or going with others. On the otherhand running can happen whenever wherever so the flexibility may suit your…
  • I did an internet search the other day and there was a lot saying it burns 180-250 per session.

  • There was a post a few hrs ago on success stories that was really inspiring : http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/250976-my-30-day-shred-results
  • Wow that is amazing! I ordered mine yesterday!!! xx
  • I'd start out eating what you want until you get used to it - i've been eating what i want as long as I don't go over my calories and lost 10lbs in 2 week! - and theres been loads of chocolate eaten!!!! Once you get into the habit of tracking calories you can start to make other adjustments.
  • I have had a tough few weeks and this last week have felt exhausted and lethargic too - I let myself sleep in until whatever time yesterday and woke up at lunchtime! Your stress reaction might be to shutdown too

  • I've lost 10lb in my first 2 weeks if that helps... not eaten mega healthy foods just counted calories as per limit set by MFP. I always lose lots at first then 1-2lbs after that.
  • I've really enjoyed reading Will Glowers French Fat Fallacy books. They focus on eating habits, eliminating faux foods from diets and he suggests saving something like a cube of cheese or square of chocolate as an 'end of meal' token 'this is the last thing I eat now, this signals the end of my meal'. If you can't lose the…
