I'm 54 years old and am the heaviest I've ever been. I am eating 1300 calories a day and have not seen anything come off in a week. I admit, I have not been exercising. I've been logging my food and eating healthier, so that is the positive side of it. I'm in!!!!

I wish my doctor would have told me to slow down on my weight when I was pregnant. Awareness is the key. If you eat whatever you want when you are pregnant, you could become diabetic. I freeze them too. Peel them and I cut them in half and put them in sandwich bags. I use them in my Nutriblast smoothies and it make them taste better.

I am having a hard time too. I am 47. I know it is hard work and working out more. Deirdre you are right. I need to stop making excuses for my age and just start doing it. I started today with a 3.5 mile walk and some sit ups and leg lifts today. I know will get instant results and feel better tomorrow.

YES, I HAD THE TALK LAST WEEK. WAS NOT PLEASANT. I TOOK IT ALL THE WRONG WAY. AFTER THINKING ABOUT IT, I DO NOT HAVE AS MUCH ENERGY WHEN I DO NOT WORK OUT AND EAT RIGHT. THE TIME IS GOING TO CHANGE HERE IN CALIFORNIA THIS WEEKEND, AND THAT MOTIVATES ME TO GET OUTSIDE AND EXERCISE.
