I would love to join, too. Count me in! I've got 60 lbs to lose, yikes.

You know I think part of it is being bored, too. It is hideous weather here in the fall/winter/spring. It's dark, cold, and rainy. I don't allow myself wine during the week, but that would be a welcome distraction. LOL I'm not tired. I munch. I'm going to try harder. Thank you for responding.

Way to go, Flanagan, you are an inspiration for those with asthma. Glad you run with something, Kimmy. I never worry about that stuff myself, but I dated a guy who was upset by that and insisted I run with it. He was probably right. :grumble: I'm really just jealous of you guys because I can't run yet.

Aw, Trud. :flowerforyou: I hope someday you can fix it, if it makes you feel better. I work with doctors and you never know if there are docs out there who might be willing to donate the service as a kind and charitable write-off. My ex-husband's cancer doctor wrote off $20,000 of our deductible... If not, thank goodness…

What an amazing new start at life you have, with all your hard work and a new life at college. I'm thrilled for you! And like the others said, you look beautiful. :flowerforyou:

Running at night is my favorite exercise EVER. Wear tights, a light long sleeved shirt other than cotton, light weight gloves, and a beanie, and you're good. You will quickly regret more, otherwise. Oh ya, you already know that. You poor thing. You painted a funny pic, but I wish one of us had been driving behind…

Hi to you too, all of you! :flowerforyou:

OK, here is my problem with late night snacking. I AM A TOTAL NIGHT OWL. :glasses: There is nothing I can do about it. I've tried it all, and it is my body clock. I get to work around 9:30 in the morning, I work like a dog all day, I get home around 7, go to the gym, eat a l light dinner, and then I'm starving by 10 pm. Is…

100 with the cute hat and mittens, I will join yours as soon as things slow down. I need some accountability too and you're right, people there are really sweet. I just need to figure out my goals, other than no light night eating, exercise more, drink all that water, go get some green tea to drink, and and and... :-)

Thank you, Glittermouse! I hope to do that one soon, but I have an ankle injury I'm trying to figure out, so no stairs for me until I do. Hopefully soon. That is a great idea for exercise!

OK this just busted me. I just scarfed down 3 pieces of turkey bacon. LOL Not horrible, but a def pattern. Ugh.

I'm a horrible sales person. Don't count on me to pitch anything to you. But I have a fun story - I was on jury duty once, listening to a prostitution case, and another juror was like a crazy zealot trying to sell me and all the other jurors vitamin gummy bears. It got pretty funny. But back to you. I could use friends,…

Smart thinking re: fitness before having kids. It really helps with labor and bouncing back healthy afterward.

I'm jealous of tall women who can spread it around. I know they have their challenges, too, but good grief it does seem on short women even 3 oz of extra fat means our pants don't fit!

If pissed got you started, that's great! Now keep that momentum going! I'm a brand newby here, myself, but no newby to fitness, weight management, and living proof that it takes both, and it will not stop once you reach your goals. I lost all the weight I wanted about a year and a half ago, and I was in the best shape of…

I don't know all the answers but here are some things that have affected my energy (and part of why I'm on a high protein, low carb nutrition plan). Vitamin D. If you aren't getting enough, it can afffect you. See if you need supplements. A routine blood test showed I'm not getting or absorbing it, so I take a whopping…

I have always had the slow problem - sometimes a week at a time, and the only thing that works for me is a couple tablespoons of sugar free Fiberall every night. I've almost always ate pretty healthy, and I drink plenty of water, but no go (pun intended). If I'm not lazy and don't forget my Fiberall, I go once a day. What…

You should be so proud of yourself. You look amazing!

Brie. Excellent bread/crackers. And god help me, those wasabi almonds. I have such a hard time with those that I have been known to buy a container, eat a few, then quickly give them away so I don't finish them all off. I love them.
-
Thanks for the welcome. I'm excited to be here and look forward to cheering me and all of you on. We can do it!

I have hair extensions and they look great. My stylist does nothing but extensions and she does the sew in kind. You can't tell any of her clients have extensions by looking at us. :-)
