I would as long as I could be sure to have insurance to cover surgery to fix it. :)

Definitely. I'd still look good in clothes even if I had loose skin. If I was still overweight, I still wouldn't look good naked or in clothes.

I lost 100 lbs and have some bits of flub and loose skin that I will probably be left with. It does bother me sometimes, but I still think it's worth it. Plus you never know how it's going to be until you try. :)

trud72...Just looked at your pictures .....i would be extatic to have come that far ...i am 64 yrs and have 20 kgs to loose ..only been on here for 35 days , and my doc weighs me every 3 weeks . Recently had a reality shock when a specialist couldnt do a medical procedure on me because my bmi was to high for the local hospitals... so i am on 9 month waiting list to go to a public hospital .
My hubby is doing MFP with me ..as we are retired ...the weight crept on when we stopped our b/ dancing .
Happiness is a inside job, i have been told ...Keep up the good work .

This is a very interesting question.

Yes, I would still lose the weight. I think losing in throughout my mid-late 20s, and losing slowly really helped me with this issue. I do have loose skin but not too much - I'm too proud of my accomplishment to let it get me down

    Xx

Aw, Trud. :flowerforyou: I hope someday you can fix it, if it makes you feel better. I work with doctors and you never know if there are docs out there who might be willing to donate the service as a kind and charitable write-off. My ex-husband's cancer doctor wrote off $20,000 of our deductible...

If not, thank goodness you will be healthy, and yay for compression and spandex! You are stronger than most just being here and losing weight.

I'd get me soem Bridget Jones Knickers and my size whatever new jeans and go and play with my kids in the park feeling healthy and alive. I'm doing this because at the moment my fat makes me too tired to do those things and I want to live to play with ymy kids.

AHHHHH so the census is what i thought!! same as me if you lose loads of weight and have the skin afterwards you would live with it same here so don't worry,i just wondered what everyone else thought too don't worry it does not bother me (i wish my belly would go) but i still have more to lose(one day lol)! i do have a bit of "loosage" but it would not bother me if i was stuck with just a flap of skin lol.i could wear nice tightish jeans(or ANY jeans for that matter)! and tuck it in!
At least i would look good with my clothes on....only hubby to show off naked too and too be honest he's seen me at my worst of being HUGE,of nearly dieing and saggy skin and to be honest he loves the inside not the outside(THANK GOD)!

thanx for answering this weird question and if you don't here from me before MERRY Christmas to you all! (just call me Mrs.Christmas)
