major bump! I always have the same issue!

I just recently got engaged to my boyfriend of almost 3 years...met him on plenty of fish. There's no denying you will have to weed through some losers, weirdos and perverted creeps. But hey, that's technically anywhere. Good luck, there are good ones out there!

I dont know how corny you're willing to get but for my one year anniversary I made my now fiance a book of reasons why I love him. It was something I had found while googling "sweet gifts for your boyfriend" because at that time I had no idea either. If you want to check it out the website is http://www.lovebookonline.com/

I can honestly tell you I did not lose a single pound while doing 30 day shred! However, I did lose plenty of inches. So make sure to also pay attention to body composition rather than just the scale. Good luck!

I don't hate working out alone however I feel myself making more excuses to not do it when Im alone because nobody else would know but me. Due to my need for accountability, I've joined plenty of group fitness classes at my gym. Maybe that's something you can do that way you'll always have someone to work out with. Hope…

Ah sounds too familiar. I always seem to get down to 174 and then its a sudden halt. I would love to lose 20 more pounds before my wedding in July. I just stick with it and try changing up my workouts and playing around with different calorie intakes. I have finally reached 173.6 so I suppose it's slowly working. Best of…

By viewing your diary, all I can tell is you need to eat more!
-
I would need to know more information about you to estimate how many calories you should be eating. However, based on what you did say you should have mfp set to lose .5 pounds a week and make sure to eat back at least most of your exercise calories. If you know your tdee then just either subtract a 10% -20% defict from…
-
are you trying to maintain? If so, good luck! If you're trying to lose weight than you want to eat at a deficit from your tdee. either way, good luck!

I personally love quest protein bars. Many different flavors and a lot healthier than pure protein. You can either buy them seperately or a whole box of them. Or as someone else said, you can get protein from real food also. Eat more lean meats, nuts, beans etc

bump for recipes! thanks for sharing!

I've tried the salad dressings. Some werent horrible but definitely not worth it to me. Plus they put a lot of things in it that I can not even pronounce to make it zero calorie. I'd rather splurge for an all natural salad dressing that has some flavor!

I finished it a little bit back. It's 6 days a week for 3 months. Each month comes with 4 workout dvds and 1 cardio dvd. And a month example of working out would be Week 1: Day 1 (workout 1), Day 2 (workout 2), Day 3 (cardio), Day 4 (workout 1), Day 5 (workout 2), Day 6 (cardio) and Day 7(rest) Week 2: Day 1 (workout 1),…

Environment plays a role but drugs are out there everywhere. If an addict wants it bad enough they'll find out where to get it from. Same as food. People may make it easier on themselves by only keeping healthy food in the house however, if they want junk they know where to get it. Will power and the desire to change is…

Congrats to those of you in recovery. It is definitely something to be proud of!
-
Oh and to add to the poster above me...most (generalizing but true) who decide to stop using drugs turn to either smoking ciggs or eating more food.
-
As someone who has binge eating disorder and is a drug and alcohol counselor...your post has some aspects of truth as well as some insensitive stupidity. A drug is a drug is a drug. Everyone is different. Cocaine may not have linked up with your brain like it may have for others but food did. You're facing the same…

When I had hip pain it was diagnosed as fluid in the hip flexor muscle. Physical therapist and doctor said it was from doing too much too fast and not allowing my body to adjust. At that time I was training for a half marathon. And as you point out..mine was only in my right hip as well. Left was perfectly dine

I personally like Quest bars. 20g protein and 17-19g of fiber, so it keeps me filled longer than most other protein bars!

Dont know where you live but maybe there's one around you. I've recently been going to Whole Foods and I love it!
-
Skinnymissmel....you also have to take into account that you're very close to your goal weight therefore you do not need such a huge deficit!
-
First off inner fat girl...I love your user name! I say all the time that I'm 500 pounds at heart. Secondly, I commend you for wanting to eat more than 1200 calories and not restricting yourself as much. However, you should really increase your protein. By doing that you may feel full longer.

string cheese, mixed nuts, dark chocolate covered soy nuts, pretzles, fruit, raw veggies, pop chips, and quest protein bars. The list can go on but those are the top choices!

Hi There! Normally people do train for months to be ready for a half marathon. However, if you already can run a 10k you should be okay if you begin training now for a september race. And in my practice you only really need to train for 10-11 miles and you'll survive. One training program is Hal Higeons or however you…
