Artificial sweeteners are just that...artificial. Any time you are putting an unnatural additive into your body it's typically unhealthy. Also be aware that items that are sugar free that use artificial sweeteners can...weaken the bowels so to speak when eaten in more than a serving sparingly. Soy sauce is very high in…

My fiance and I met after both of us had lost a large amount of weight. He finished his loss of about 120 and I was continuing mine (140 lbs and still going). It is very difficult for us because we enjoy food and we "nest" and gain. Both of our attitudes play heavily into the others because when you're tight on grocery…

Hey. I'm 5'9" and about 167 right now. I've got about 27 pounds to go until I reach my goal. Feel free to add me!

I'm still here. Winter has me very down and out so I'm not sure I'll be posting in here, but I'm still logging and still losing slowly, which is definitely a good thing! I miss you all. I wanted to swing by and say Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! Hopefully I get out of this funk soon!

I was a loose 26 when I started losing weight, and each time it's like Christmas all over again when I can fit in a new size. Each time I psych myself out thinking it'll never fit, and how bummed I'll feel if the next size is too small. And sometimes it is still too small, but then the day comes that it fits, and it feels…

I just got over a pretty bad cold. Your body needs more calories to fight off being sick, so my suggestion is to eat at maintenance while you're sick. Don't overeat, but don't under eat either. I find that when I'm sick I don't want to eat, so it was tough making myself. I ate soups, and breads, but be sure you're getting…

Okay. @skinnyjeansbound Thanks for the tip on saving the page! Also, I noticed the October challenge. I'm currently failing. 5/11 days under my goal. Mostly I've been within 300, which means I've been around 1500 calories, which isn't all that bad. I've been on here 418 days in a row. I've lost 128 pounds so far. Life is…

Okay. So I'm really confused. What happened to the page, and why don't I see my post on "my discussions?"
-
bump. I've been awol for a while. I suck.

I don't after dinner if I can help it. Whatever time that may be (usually between 6 and 7). I find that I sleep better if my tummy isn't trying to digest.

I am SO behind here...will try to catch up more later. I've been around my goal (within 100 cal) 8/13 days so far. TOM killed that. My goal is only 1200 a day, so I don't mind that I've gone over. Over by 500 calories won't even put me at TDEE. Wednesday wish- I have 6 days before I hit my one year in of weight loss, and…

Nettie: You're preggers! You'll catch back up to me in no time!!! Nagyca: That post was painful to read. :)

You'll reach plateaus now and then. Check how much you're eating. If you're eating around 1200 or so, try upping your calories for a week and eating at maintenance. While it's scary to do, it'll actually help with confusing your metabolism.

ebailey: I hope your tummy feels better! I find that after a tough ab exercise day, eating light and clean helps a little. teresa: I love reading about you and your hubby. I met my boyfriend online as well, now we're getting our first place together! It's really exciting! foreverdaniel: Welcome! I can definitely relate to…

you just joined!

Oh nuts. I could've sworn I put that on here. It's roughly 345 per serving, and the dish makes 4 servings.

I wish there was an anti-adipose team!

So here's my bit for the day. I've been thinking about it recently and I've noticed a lot of things that no one ever tells you about when you start losing weight. I'm at the lowest size/weight I've been since Junior High, and so I don't remember what it's like to be like this. It's all meant to be comedic, so please feel…

Robin/Ellen: I agree. I remember some names but not all. Also, I'd really appreciate it if you're responding to something someone said maybe quote them, or even reference what they were saying? It's more work, but I know sometimes I read a comment that I feel could be helpful, but I don't know what the original statement…

I'm 5'9" Down 120# so far Have another 35-40 to go

If it's too tempting to eat under your goal, perhaps we could make the challenge that you are within 50-100 calories of your goal? ex. if mine is 1200 daily, and I eat 1256, that's still acceptable. Leaves marginal room.

I almost always love how I feel after working out. I enjoy lifting, and watching the miles tick by on the bicycle. I feel like I've reached the point where it's a lifestyle, not a chore.

According to my calculations the calorie count on this is incorrect. 1 cup of flour is about 455 calories. 1 cup of vegetable oil is 1920 (120 calories a tbsp) 1 cup of sugar is 773 calories which alone is 3989.5 / 24 = 166 calories per cupcake plus all the other ingredients.

shred it and make either zucchini pasta or zucchini pizza crust. Zucchini muffins/breads Zucchini lasagna where you could use sliced zucchini with marinara and laughing cow cheeses

Has anyone mentioned the August challenge yet? I was thinking maybe everyone does exercise minutes? Or maybe days under your calorie goal? A secondary version of Lent (Give something you love up for a month?)

**bump** I'm still here. Just trying to get my bearings on life and get back on track with my diet...I've been struggling a lot with not being able to meet my original goal, which was to lose 155 in the last year. Right now I'm sitting around 185 (or so my scale said this morning), which is putting my about 35# shy of my…

You should never drop below 1200 unless a medical doctor recommends it. It is too few calories for you to consume daily. Personally, I prefer to eat at about 1400. I don't eat back my exercise calories, but that's my preference. Just be sure you're burning more than you're eating, and you're eating enough to where you're…
