  • I kind of don't see anything rude in wondering if the person is hurting themselves with too much cardio. Having ED is a first thing that springs to ones mind these days (in the past it probably would be cancer). This is not rude, this is a sign of concern. OP just wonders and OP might be wrong... or right. The said person…
  • Some of you are so rude! 'Is this for real? Well - I'd tell you to shove it up your *kitten*'. Have you ever worried about someone being in trouble and wondering if you can help? Because it surely sounds like all the rude voices belong to the people who mind their own bums, yes and... don't give a heck about people they…
  • People often suggest going into the maintenance for two weeks or a month - to reset your metabolism (especially if ate less then you should have), then back on the calorie deficit, but this time around eating the right quantity of food. It kind of makes sense, methinks?
  • Err.. treated which way? As far as I'm aware he didn't mistreat the OP. He expressed his opinion. She feels hurt (I would as well), she doesn't understand why he is not happy for her (but then he is not sure why she feels she needs to loose weight either). Should she divorce him just because he expressed his opinion - in a…
  • Hey man, amazing change! well done you :)
  • Amazing! wow! now - what does zigzagging mean in terms of eating x amount of calories?
  • congrats! nice one - congratulation on patience & sticking with it & now - congratulations on moving on! now - what was the reason for your platou? let us know - whom knows, it might really help other people to work out why they aren't loosing weight.

  • I avoid the scale in general. I weight once a week, same day, around the same time, or once every now & then - I did weight myself every day about 2 weeks ago & ended in tears when the scale was going up, and up, and up.... and then on the weight day it was back to normal o.o Around the time of the moth - I just don't…
  • bump.I actually want to shed inches of my legs, the rest is ok-ish. A bit worried it just not going to happened - cycling, jogging, climbing. They aren't any smaller.
  • I think your mind is mad at you, especially the 'I shouldn't have' part of it :) Your body, most likely, doesn't mind. It might be even grateful - woken up starving, surely you needed some fuel? You didn't have a fat-loaded take away to feel bad about it! Nothing happened. Forget about it & carry on :) PS Oooops Project…
  • Yup. Have mine on weekends. If I can eat more but still healthy - I'll do it. if I fancy pizza or/and ice-cream & cider - I'll also do it. I still log & I'll try to stay around 200kcl (1200 is my everyday given by MFP). I tend to have 5-6h climbing session on one of the weekend days, co I guess I partly burn it anyway. But…
  • Weekend is a cheat time :) I'll either try to eat more but still healthy (not always succeeding) & have it around 2000kcl in total (my normal daily is 1200) or if I feel like pizza & ice-cream - I'll bloody have it! The fact that I know I'll potentially have a bigger meal or ice-cream on one of the weekend days - does help…
  • I'm trying to weight myself either weekly or every two weeks. Weekend is a 'cheat' so I tend to weight myself in the morning, before I eat on, Tuesdays. If I weight myself daily - it plays with my mind, frustrates me & demotivates me big time. If I do it every week or even two - I can see the effect (and I am satisfied) or…
  • I tend to go for the one slightly higher then what I think it might be just to make sure I don't underestimate horribly...
  • wow, amazing job!
  • 1x Percy Pig :)
  • Nope. Not everything - I don't think I ever legged this 50g of blueberries I add to the muesli or few carrot sticks.
  • when I've joined MFP I started using an electronic scale - it really was an eye opener :) It is quite shocking how easy it is to underestimate how much you're eating.
  • Oh well, so what? Meh, forgive yourself - it happens to all of us! A week is not that much really - maybe your body just needed few unrestricted, wild days days? Don't try to lash yourself, don't try to work twice as hard as you usually do. Just get on it again, like nothing happen :)
  • Well yes, if they happy to live on a glass of water & a leaf of lettuce, because they're so desperate to stay skeleton-skinny, oh well, so be it. Sadly, nothing that we will say will change their minds. The issue is to serious - they need a help of a pro & only if they decide to have it :( However - if they're PROMOTING…
  • my apparently sends a tiny electric signal through the body - the speed it returns, depends on the amount of fat & water percentage. I had to enter my age, hight, sex & something else to my profile, so I guess that's taken into account.
  • Awesome waistline & stomach BUT I can really see the change on your legs too! Please reveal the secret! You look great!
  • icecream!
  • ICECREAM! I use to ate icecream everyday :) Since I'm trying to loose just a few kg, I eat it only once a week at the favourite italian icecream shop down the road, hmmmm.... And all sort of cakes my flatmate bakes, they're absolutely amazing! it does mess up my daily kcl goal from time to time, ooops!
  • Weird. I only have 100 something people on my profile. I know all of them, I like all of them. Rarely invited someone newly met at the pub just because they seem to be ok & asked about my FB profile. Also, rarely post anything on my profile unless i thinks it's worth sharing & could bring a smile/reflection upon someone.…
  • On average I'll have one or two home made sandwich a day. I also did wonder if that is too much but I live on the go, spend much of my time at work & don't always have time (& resources) to prepare anything fancier then that. I've cut on the pasta & try to replace it with grains or just eat less of it. As the previous…
  • Ditto that. My BF likes to bring all sorts of chocolate bars & desserts home - for himself & for me. He knows I'm trying to loose some weight but he also remembers I like the stuff when he's shopping - so he buys it on impulse. It took me a few conversations to stop him feed (bought you Ben& Jerry's, wan't some now or…
  • O, this :) Oh lady - let someone spoil you sometimes, or even spoil yourself - with a gift, with a compliment, take it graciously! Nothing wrong with being given gifts or/and being pampered! You know you do deserve it, don't you?
  • Exactly all of the above!
  • How about scribbling it down on the piece of paper & inputing it into MFP just before you go to sleep? Also - I don't believe in all that weighting & calculating the exact calories in your meal (frankly - I don't really have time for it) - why won't you just find in the database something that looks like the closest match…
