Maybe just eat slower, if it is the time spent at the table that matters. Cut your food up into smaller pieces, chew it very well, and take time between bites.

Thank you for cleaning up after the inconsiderate people. I clean at a YMCA, and sometimes it is hard to get into a certain area to clean it. I also have the pleasure of unloading all the bars and machines in the weight room, and I have considered putting up signs that say "If you're strong enough to lift it, you are…

You may also want to look into kettlebell exercises. Kettlebells are small, so they don't take up much room, but they are a good tool for increasing your strength. You can also get some good dvds to help guide you (although I have heard that Jillian's is horrible, so maybe not that one, lol.) And all of the other ideas…

Hydrogen peroxide is good, it will foam up when it comes in contact with blood. I would suggest bleach, but that would probably be a hassle to carry with you and would ruin everything if it spilled.

There is plenty of good advice here, and I can't add much except to say I know how you feel. 125 pounds down and I sometimes still feel the same as I did when I started. I think people assume that losing weight means your body will shrink, but really it's less like shrinking and more like melting. It also takes time for…

I work at a YMCA, and none of our network facilities have a pool-only membership. All Y's are a little different, though. I would call and ask, and if it is out of your price range, ask if there is financial assistance available. They won't advertise it, but most Y's have scholarship programs to make memberships more…

I absolutely love that MFP is devoting their attention to this lovely new feature instead of fixing one of the many, many existing bugs in their apps. I have the Windows Phone app and it blows up every few days, usually after I dare to <gasp> actually interact with my friends. I had to uninstall/reinstall four times one…

I'm sorry, but this made me spit water all over my lap. Breath-based weight loss? I thought I had heard all the ridiculous fat-loss fads. Thank you for sharing!
-
Great job, your hard work is really paying off! You look great!

Approximately 360 to 265ish. I never realized that I looked any different until I put the two pictures side by side.

Amazing! Congrats Yo!

Truly inspirational. Thank you so much for sharing this, it gives me and so many others hope. You are amazing!

Congratulations! That is incredibly inspirational.

I have a friend who used to pick off his mom's plate all the time. Until she stabbed him in the arm with her fork. He has a scar from it still, I am not even kidding. Not that I'm recommending that, but he doesn't take other people's food anymore.

^This is generally what I do. I tend to think the projected calorie burns are way high. Very rarely do I eat them all back.

My goal weight right now is 168. I picked that number because it is exactly 220 pounds below my starting weight, and I like round numbers. At 5'7", it will put me at about 10 pounds overweight. But I am not tied to this number. I may get there and decide to keep going. I am more concerned with body composition than scale…

Great job! And that is a pretty good time for just doing it out of thin air. You're doing great!

???? I think New Year you will be proud. Just keep putting one foot in front of the other. You can do it. I know you can.
-
Amazing and truly inspiring! Go you!

Wow! Your transformation is incredible and inspiring! Your hard work and dedication really show. Congratulations!
-
I can understand your disappointment, but like the previous poster said, don't discount your amazing success! And give it some time, your skin may rebound more over the next year. And congratulations on your great loss!! ????????????????????

Great work, you look amazing! Very inspiring. Thanks for sharing.

Bumping for the science. Thanks!

^This. I could bend over and put my hands flat on the floor at about 325. Many of my much-skinnier friends can't do that. If you keep working at it like another previous poster said, you will get more flexible.

I think water weight is the most common cause of scale fluctuation. New or intense exercise can cause your muscles to hold water in order to repair themselves. A high sodium or high carb day can also cause you to retain several pounds of water. However, some food plans, like low carb, deplete the body of glycogen. Glycogen…

Plenty of great ideas here, I just wanted to say I can relate. I once had an ear infection so bad that it pushed my lower jaw to one side. I couldn't chew for a week because my back teeth wouldn't line up. I lived on mashed potatoes and gravy and jello. I hope you feel better soon.

I have also experienced this, and I would add that lack of sleep tends to erode self-control. When I am tired, I'm less likely to care whether x food fits my plan for the day.

<3 How amazing. I'm sure that is exactly what she needed to hear. You are a very wise man. Thanks for this.

Wow, great work. And how fantastic that you give God the glory. I am a Phillipians 4:13 girl myself ???? Thank you for sharing.
