  • No sure if I'm posting this right... but 177 and me at 121
  • LOL- Well, string cheese is definitely a must. Always Grapes and bananas. Turkey Pepporoni, Tuna, eggs to hard-boil. Those are a few of my necessities.
  • Dinner tonight was a salmon burger on a wheat roll, corn & cherry tomatoes and a few homemade baked sweet potato wedges.
  • Man, my first earthquake and I totally missed it. I'm in Gettysburg and was in a theatre with my neice to see Smurfs. Neither of us felt it or knew anything about it until I got her home! FYI- for anyone thinking about seeing the Smurfs.... the 5.8 woulda been more entertaining. And I think my 11 year old niece would agree!
  • Love this support group and the challange. I'm a little late to the party since I just found this message board topic, but here's my report for the day on the challenge: Fruit- None today - need to get to the grocery store!! Veggie- Cherry Tomatoes & corn Exercise- 30 minute walk As far as what's new today- Off topic- An…
  • Our magic word is "Harness". We have to spell it. (as well as having to spell "Walk", "Park" and "Ride"). In fact if we even THINK about taking him, he somehow catches on and is whinning over by his harness and leash. Once I looked at my husband and said "Should we..." and Anubis knew what it was about before I even…
  • I drink socially, but really try not to very must because I just don't want to waste my calories on it. I'd rather eat ice cream than drink a beer. But that's just me!! LOL!
  • Pomegranite! Yah! Almost forgot about those. That season is right around the corner!
  • I like to bring those "Breakfast on the Go" packs with me when I need an easy mobile snack.
  • I'm like you... just can't drink plain water. Try a glass with a slice of lemon and a slice of cucumber. It sounds weird, but tastes GREAT! I call it my "Summer water" and you can make it by the pitcher with a few slices of each. Even if you don't care for cucumber, you should give it a try. It's a hard to explain…
  • I walk with my blind pit/lab mix everyday. Usually 15-30 minutes depending on the weather.
  • It didn't seem to have any affect on weight gain for me at all. I'd lost about 50 lbs and started on zoloft a few years after. Never gained the weight back, and then got serious again and ended up losing another 10! I'm still on it now. I've gained about 7 pounds back but I can't blame it on the zoloft. I think that had…

  • congrats! Good job!
  • I stick with the home scale so I can weigh myself first thing in the morning, naked. That's when I get the best numbers! LOL! When I was working on loosing my original 50+ lbs I weighed weekly. But since I've been maintaining the past few years I weigh daily. That way there's no surprises! Recently I gained about 7 lbs and…
  • I started at 178 several years ago. As of today I'm at 124. I've kept it off for over 5 years, just fluctuation by a few pounds here and there. At one point I had gotten as low as 119. Anyway- I'd say you have to never look at fitness and nutrition as "diet and exercise" but as a Iifestyle. Even if I'm not counting WW…
  • I hear ya. I've paid through the nose for WW as a safety net too! I think the calorie tracking on here is so much easier. And I find the site itself to be more user friendly. I think it's weird too about unlimited fruits and veggies with WW. Plus, I tended to go overboard with Flex points alot. I like the idea of having a…
  • I'm new! Add me too. I started at 178 and got down to 120. But now back up to 127 (that's why I'm back here!). Anyway- I saw your goals and they are very attainable! I think the main thing is to log everything you eat. I've found that kept my weight off for four years.... and the 7 pounds I just gained... I wasn't eating…
