I have a glass or 2 of red wine 3-4 nights a week and don't really think it makes a massive amount of difference......Last year I had 8 weeks without drink and my BF% only dropped 1%....it depends if your snacking while drinking which lots of people do! I do exercise a lot mind you so it may help reverse weight gain :0

Normally a good running shoes shop will test you on a treadmill and video your landing and will advise you what shoes you require.These shops are usually more expensive but you are under no obligation to buy!

Your doing all the right things as yoga and pilates work your core throughout. I had a PT that worked me on gym rings(like trx) and it pulled sides and stomach in quite a bit....If you have Body Pump classes where you are they help change shape well too. Theres definitely a difference......I would say your at the point now where you are likely to lose more from round the waist which will change you shape.Great progress so far...keep it up. Do you use weight workouts atall?:smile:

I've had achilles tendonitis since September....I managed to get round NY Marathon in November but have only managed 4 miles 2 or 3 times since....Its a slow process and not sure I'll get back to running anytime soon. I'm trying the same at the moment....its a very slow process(4lb in 4 weeks) but starting to see abs and lifting much better weights.I do 2-3 Body Pump Classes a week and one Heavy weights Circuit. Eating wise I'm on lots of protein & good fats......Good luck! :)
