  • I don't have any tips for you --I just wanted to say you look GREAT!!! You don't look like an 'older lady' Hope you find something that helps you feel as good as you look :)
  • Sounds amazing!! Two things I love...I will be trying this!
  • You both can do it! It's so much easier if your spouse is doing it too! My husband and I have been doing this together for over a year now. Add us if you want!
  • When I'm really up for battling the urge to snack (which isn't always) when I start to look around for something to munch I try to stop and think about how I feel- am I really hungry, or just bored? Then I drink more water and remind myself, I am not actually hungry, no need to eat. Usually works. It's a daily battle. Esp.…
  • This may not be the right answer, but.... I only pay attention to the calories and have been able to lose just fine...
  • I eat my cereal mixed with Dannon Light and Fit vanilla yogurt. very yummy. I don't care for milk either :)
  • This sounds great! Thanks for sharing!
  • My little boy liked the Kick box boot camp on demand! He never made it all the way-he's only 5 so he got tired of it- but it was so fun with him! He likes Zumba, too! Don't think it's on Demand.....very entertaining to see a 5yr old try to salsa!
  • I love Phineas and Ferb...sometimes I start to turn it on when the 5 1/2 yr old is not here!
  • Thanks! I will try that!
  • I don't have anything helpful, but I wanted to send you a big hug! (((((hug)))))

  • Haven't read this book... Just wanted to mention that thyroid disorders can be triggered by the hormonal onslaught that is pregnancy. That can make it very difficult to lose weight. I found out I was hypothyroid after having my son and had had no problems like that before. Just something to think about. Good luck!
  • Today I saw some stuff at Rural King called Anti-Monkey Butt. I don't know anything about this stuff, but it sounds like this is what it's for! here's their website: http://www.antimonkeybutt.com/
  • I work 3- 12hr shifts a wk. I pack healthy food and snacks like you said and still usually go over at least a little (sometimes a lot). I just try to work out and be careful the rest of the week. So far that's working out alright for me. I made it to my goal and am maintaining with this routine.
  • I love it! I have the old one and the new one. The new one I just got was $90ish & free shipping on amazon. I've been using it for almost a year now and have lost 20#. I've not ever been a dedicated exerciser...but this I'm not tired of yet. --also, I'm not very coordinated, so I like doing this at home so no one has to…

  • Hi there! Great family pic! I guess you took that? :) I'm an MRI tech. I only work weekends- 12 hr shifts. That way I get to spend all week with my 5yr old.
  • Log EVERYTHING you eat! It will be an eye-opener, it was for me. I agree--no skipping meals, it doesn't help. Lots of fruits, veggies and low cal snacks. If you have time plan out what you will eat all day (easier when you pack a bag and leave for work for 12 hrs ;) Don't deny yourself some of the things you like--I always…
  • Greek Yogurt!! With a little cereal or fruit...
  • I'm finally able to log throughout the day most days now, and I'll admit that is easier. BUT, before that was something I could do I had a scrap of paper in my pocket or laying on the counter where I jotted down everything that passed my lips! I agree with the others about doing it beforehand if you can. I work 12 hr…
  • Keep it up! You're doing great! It feels really good when ppl start to notice :)
  • This may not be useful to you at all...I've never made broccoli slaw (though I do like it), but I always have a bag of broccoli slaw on hand. I use it in stir-fry, veggie wraps, salads. I eat it almost every day! Hope you get some good recipes!
  • My go to for lunch is Flat Out Bread (only 90 calories!), spinach and or romaine, hummus -the athenos spicy pepper kind is 50 calories for 2T, shredded broccoli and carrots (walmart has a Marketside Broccoli Slaw), tomatoes, green onion if I have any. What ever veggie you like! It's really filling, you can stuff a lot into…
  • I like the FiberOne Granola bars 140 calories and pretty filling...apples fill me up, but my husband disagrees on that one. I agree on the hummus, too! I love it with lots of stuff. I like to have cheese sticks, dry cereal, m &ms (in limited quantities), popcorn 100 calorie packs. Good luck!
  • Awesome!! Always a great feeling!
  • I LOVE it!!!! I've lost 11 #s doing zumba and eating better--in just 2-3 months!! It's the first thing I've been able to stick with too! It's so fun, even at 4:45am!!
  • I've recently become a Zumba addict--after 2 wks of doing it daily my thighs are slimmer and my sides/obliques are frequently sore. So I'm hoping that will tone up/slim down that area too. Plus it's really fun-and that's hard to find when it comes to exercise! Good luck!
