  • I like tortillas for making personal pizzas. I've seen the cauliflower pizza crust and would love to try it, but just haven't yet so I can't really recommend it. As far as toppings go, I like marinara (made by me or a natural one), peppers (any color), onion, olives, and broccoli. I know it sounds weird, but it just works.…
  • Yes. On weeks I know I'll be busy with work/class, I will boil eggs on Sunday to keep for Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday breakfast. On Wednesday I will boil more to eat Thursday and Friday. I sometimes chop them up and eat them with salsa and cheese. Sometimes eat them plain with some pepper or hot sauce and a piece of…
  • I like carrots and hummus. Actually, I LOVE pita bread and hummus but I have little self control with it. LOL celery and pb greek yogurt raw fruits and veggies (clementines are my fave)...(and frozen grapes!) nuts popcorn string cheese OH and recently frozen berries blended with about 2-4 tbs almond milk. It comes out…
  • I might just start doing this. I barely snacked at all when I was in high school and would paint my nails/make bracelets for my friends/do random crafty things all night. Now it is AWFUL. I'm gonna learn how to crochet. Or something...haha. Congrats on losing 70 lbs! And the blankets!
  • Produce: Carrots, bell peppers, seranos, celery, apples, clementines (if in season), strawberries (when in season), onions, garlic, sweet potatoes, spinach. hummus. Dry goods: whole wheat bread, brown rice, microwave rice, instant mashed potatoes (don't judge), cereal (grape nuts, fiber one, or chex usually), whole wheat…
  • Yogi teas are my favorite bagged teas for sure. The Mayan cocoa is TO DIE FOR! It tastes like hot chocolate. And the Peach Detox is amazing. Actually, the regular detox is pretty good too. I haven't tried one I don't like, other than I just don't prefer REALLY fruity teas so the blueberry slim life and things like that are…
  • I have heard that red sauce is much better for you, but I still like alfredo occasionally. I put broccoli and carrots or peas and carrots or just bell peppers in my alfredo and I always use whole wheat pasta. So yeah, I think it sounds like it will taste good. And for alfredo that isn't that high in calories. Good job!
  • THIS. They are 90 calories without the milk you add. I would rather have an egg white omelet for breakfast. Or a nice big salad for lunch. I just feel more satisfied with actual food. AND I don't want to drink shakes forever, like mentioned above, I would rather learn how to eat healthy for life. (Even though this learning…
  • A family friend of mine lost A LOT of weight with it, as did her daughter. They sell it and love it and go to conventions and the whole nine yards. Well, of course, I wanted to try it. I am on a tight budget but thought if it replaced two meals a day then it would be worth it. It is pretty pricey. And I did not want to…
  • Request sent! I have 87 left to lose, but I have set some "mini" goals for myself. I started with 100 lbs to lose. Looking at that much weight is overwhelming, so I have found that having mini goals of 20 lbs or 15 lbs works best for me. Look forward to helping each other out!
  • I like them for breakfast when I'm in a hurry or for a snack when I don't have time to prep. That being said, they aren't magic or anything. They will not jumpstart your diet any more than eating an equivalent of calories in fruits/veggies/protein/fiber. Mine are about 170 calories, so if I was to eat 170 calories of…
  • You may have to change a few things to make this one healthier, but I do chicken teriyaki (sp?) I dump one onion (cut into fours roughly), one can of pineapple rings, one bell pepper, and 1/4 cup teriyaki sauce on top of 1 lb chicken breasts in the crockpot. (I usually ad some garlic powder too). I let it cook 3-4 hours…
  • I had the same problem! I like lunch to be fresher (if that makes sense) than my dinners. Usually my dinners are hearty and warmed, and I like lunches to be lighter and more raw. I googled it (lol) and found some good ideas. Here are some of my go to lunches: Salad greens with chicken and a raspberry vinegarette (my…
  • I really like cold oatmeal that thickens overnight in the fridge. Read it on a blog, tried it, love it. It gives it a different texture and taste. You should google it :). I've also seen people put it in their smoothies. I have never tried it because I'm not much of a smoothie person, but good concept. And lastly, I love…
  • I'm 21 and need to 89 more lbs to get to my GW, but 50 is a good goal too. Add me :)
  • I have never had actual stomach "pain" per say, but I cut out fast food about a month ago and had some taco bell last weekend and it made me super nauseated. Almost to the point of vomiting. I also cut out meat about three years ago as a high school fad thing (haha) and when I ate chicken again for the first time about 6…
  • The calories come from the sugar (and sugar substitute) in the gum. And other stuff I guess haha. Anyways, I add my gum in the log because I usually have two-three pieces a day. I mean, I log celery too, but people say you burn it off just by chewing and digesting it lol. I log everything though. If nothing else, I can…
  • I have 23 pounds to lose before I'm under 200 but I am always open to new friends :) I've lost 17 so far! My ultimate goal is 140, so I have a ways to go!
  • I'm about to start week 4, but week two was so hard for me too! I had to stop halfway through a few times! I really hope transitioning to week 4 will be easier!
  • I ordered some from a friend, and I really liked it for like a week. Then I realized that they are pretty pricey and just nice as fulfilling as a meal, even a low calorie one. I understand that it has a lot of vitamins and minerals in it, but it just wasn't for me. I still have half a bag left, and I occasionally use it…
  • I started week two yesterday and was really worried because week one was rough for me! Week two day one went by so much easier! It was more running, but I got on a rhythm and it was great! I say keep moving and if you need to take a step back then you can :) oh and I normally do the bike for a bit after running, but n more…
  • Tomorrow I am supposed to start week 2, but I am a little worried! Week one was hard at first but I'm excited!

  • They are AMAZING. With normal dip or hummus. And you should really try hummus, you will most likely be hooked! It's delish. The southwestern flavor of these crisps are my favorite, but the sour cream and oninon is great too. I like that the serving size is so BIG!
  • I asked a question similar to this and everyone said adding some strength training is beneficial! I'm gonna try it! :)
  • I do mine on the treadmill, and I'm only on w1d2 (well 3 now). Anyways, I warm up at 2.5, walk at 3.0, and run at 5.0 (short legs) haha! Yesterday, my boyfriend went to the gym with me and lifted while I ran. Seeing him push through the pain made me wanna amp up my speed! I ended up running three of the intervals at 5.5!…
  • And oh my goodness thecrossfitte! You look great!
  • Thanks! That's awesome! I am definitely going to incorporate some into my regimen! I played around with it some last week and still lost 1.5 lb, so it's looking hopeful! I am 224.5, so I know I need to lose quite a bit to be healthy, but why not work my muscles too? :)
  • Ok so I have like 80+ lbs to lose. Should I stick with just cardio until I get down closer to my goal? Everyone here already seems pretty close...lol
  • I have a similar problem. My gym equipment with heart rate monitors say I burn quite a bit less than MFP says. So kind of the opposite of yours. The equipment asks for my age and weigt too. I usually just settle for somewhere in between them haha. I'm interested in some other answers
  • This playlist=amazing. I reallly like all of these songs! Yay for my run tomorrow!
