I've honestly never had that problem... I'm pretty much always up for chowing down!

Smoothies don't help you lose weight, but a calorie deficit will. No recipe except a food scale, proper macro nutrient and calorie levels, and sweat... :flowerforyou:

That's hard to say without any real useful information. What do you do at the gym. How often are you going? What are you doing? How many calories are you eating? Drinking more water will cause more sweat and pee to come out of your body, and a big WHOOSH like that is typically water weight adjustments in your body.

I'm 5'6, and I wear a 4 or a 6 depending on brand. My goal is a 2.

When I do mine... I do 6-8 hours on low. If you're doing a WHOLE chicken, I don't advise putting it in completely frozen, though... you could. It should pull apart easily when it's done, practically be falling apart.

If you give me your approximate body fat percentage, height, weight, age, activity level (list of activities and amounts of time spent doing them), I'd be happy to run a rough calculation for calorie intake and suggest a macro ratio...

Interesting -- learn something new. I was lactose intolerant for multiple years (22-26) and any amount of anything with dairy in it killed me... turns out it was stress induced. They do have a really nice selection fo lactose-free products now, that I'm super jealous of... lucky lactose intolerant people now-a-days.

I agree, make ahead crockpot meals are a good idea... I cook in my crockpot 3-5 times a week, and keep the leftovers for lunches. I also wanted to point out that, if you can have cheeses and yogurt, you're probably not lactose intolerant, unless you're buying lactose free cheeses and yogurts, which are available. I'd look…

I'll be finishing month 1 on Sunday -- My results so far are much like yours. I've lost about 3.5 pounds. Not sure about measurements, I didn't do those at the beginning.... But I will on Sunday! Better definition in my arms for sure... NO complaints here. I'm used to seeing most results in the 2nd and 3rd months anyways.…

Well this could get awkward....

Hey.... I mean.... if he waits too long ........

No... no love for sushi. It's yucky! But I agree -- I think the hate is from the americanized versions.

I've been feeling really nice, calculating stuff for people... but.... here you go. Read this... http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/1080242-a-guide-to-get-you-started-on-your-path-to-sexypants Pretty much all you need to know.

There is absolutely no magic shake, pill or supplement that will help you lose weight. Eat at a deficit... that's the magic.

Without much information from you I did some quick and dirty calculations. I put in your height/weight/age (stolen from your profile!), said that you had the following activity: Resting 12 hours, very light for 6 hours, light 4 hours and moderate for 2. I got the following for your calories TDEE: 2943 BMR: 1723 Calculating…

I'm just going to say it..... I don't know many boys that want chocolates as a gift.... ....... ....................

It depends. I work out an hour before bed and be fine. You'll have to experiment and see what works. I'm in bed by 9:30 or 10, and I usually get my workout done before 8. Usually.... good luck!

That's hard to predict.... I don't even know if I will retain water tomorrow  Maybe try to drink extra water tonight and see if that helps.

TrueNutrition is going out of business... if you want anything from them, you better act fast. It's by far the best protein powder I've ever had.

If you have any questions or need support. FR me or PM me. Good luck :)

It's true -- you can. The biggest problem is most people don't want to hear the truth! It usually goes against everything they've learned in the past, or what they are currently doing... !

40/30/30 is great too  Look at that good deed we just did!
-
That's where I usually help people start out at... any changes you make should be made "permanent" for at least a month to see any changes and know if it is or isn't working. If it is, stick with it... if not, tweak it... I sometimes go up to 30% from fats depending on how I feel that day :flowerforyou: good luck!

You're welcome. Honest is honest. If you restrict foods you love, you're going to binge. It's pretty simple. If you don't have the self control, you need to learn it. There is not magic cure if you can't control yourself. Good luck on your goals.:drinker:

I looked at your calorie goal... you're on the MFP standard of 1200, which even though you're shorter and small, may be too little for you. I did some quick and dirty calculations. Your TDEE (I based it on 12 hours of rest and 12 hours of very light activity): 1614 Your BMR is 1291 Since it seems you have SO little to…

There isn't a need for shakes or anything, and there is nothing magical about any of those shakes... I'd rather spend the $100+ on an actual cart of groceries. You only need to eat at a deficit to lose the weight...
-
Why would you need to do that? Can't you make room for it in your calories and macros, and have self control? If you cut things out that you love or restrict yourself too much... you're just going to binge anyways.
-
I think the biggest mistake people make is restrticting their diet and avoiding foods... I say, if you like those things, make room for it in your macros and calories for the day. Unless you have a diagnosed medical condition, cutting out sugar or sodium or "other weird ingredients" isn't necessary. Is your diary open? How…
