I had really bad headaches for the first 5 days of not drinking coffee and mild ones for about another week after that so maybe that is it. It's been good now tho, been about 3 weeks with no caffeine and I am sleeping a lot better so worth it in the long run!

Go shopping with a supportive friend who's clothes you admire and then get them to help you pick things out. And have fun with it!!

So am I understanding right that lots of water will flush it from your system if you have a high sodium day? Doesn't it still affect heart health or will the water flush your arteries more? I don't add it to anything and I am trying to avoid processed foods but this is good to know if I have a bad day!

Have lots of bottled water, apple slices, veggies and a cooler for all of it and download some books to listen to while you drive. Just don't get any tear jerkers lol it's hard to drive if you are crying lol!

So if you used to walk to and from work why not just go for a walk in the morning? Doesn't have to be to work it can be around your neighbourhood and then you still have your evening free...

My first week I did a cleansing diet and lost 4 pounds. I had no caffeine, alcohol, red meat, grain products or dairy. Lots of chicken and veggies and fruit and I wasn't hungy but the caffeine headaches were brutal for the first 4 days! It gave me a good jump start and encouragement to keep going.

I don't add my protein powder in untill everything else is well blended cos the protein seems to be gritty if it is blended too much. Not sure if it's just me or the brand I have but whatever works!

I have an apple, peeled and slice into thin slices with cinnamon and about 1/2 tsp honey. Peeling and slicing the apple take a bit of time so I can think about the fact I am making a healthy choice and pat myself on the back for it.
