No blood pressure medicine for me! Yay!

Just wanted to share a personal triumph on my life-long journey to fitness.

Rewind to 1.5 years ago, my doctor told me I might need to get on blood pressure medicine at 24 years old! 24! My family has a history of it, and it really got me worried.

Fast forward to today, went to the dentist, took my blood pressure. It was 117 over 77. Down from 140 over 90.

Might not be a large success story, but I sure was excited!

It makes me remember why I started MFP and a healthy lifestyle in the first place.

Take care!

-Joel

That is great! Being on any kind of meds is a downer no matter the age but definitely no fun at 24! Keep up the good work and let that continue to motivate you!
