Do you think she might feel threatened? Is she overweight? It might be she's afraid you will get so fit and healthy you won't be interested in her. Just try to give her extra attention and let her know what she means to you. Women are a confusing, emotional lot. lol

treadmills are more effective if you mix it up on them. Go for a slower pace for 3 minutes or so and then go three minutes at a much higher pace and then back. Absolutely check out thrift stores. I volunteer in one that benefits a no-kill animal shelter and we get fabulous donations. I kinda think if you've gone this long without it, I'd leave it alone for a while and maybe revisit this in about six months. My bet is by that time, you will have lost your taste for it and it will be a moot point. I've pretty much given it up and it really doesn't bother me at all now.

What a good idea.....take the top of the bun off a burger, cut it in half and make it a double. Great idea. I'll remember that. I used to take the top off and eat it with a fork but your way is much better.
