I'm on the pill and I am losing weight. It could be other factors.

Between a gallon and a gallon and a half. I seem to need a lot of water. That's the amount I just naturally drink - I'm not aiming for any goal or anything, just drink when I'm thirsty.

between 5'6'' and 5'7'' 172 pounds and it really depends on the day. Active days my TDEE is like 3000-3100, but on sedentary days it can be as low as 2000. So I guess I maintain at about 2500 if you want to look at an average. I try to look at weekly averages instead of daily for this reason.

You don't have to eat all of them. Maybe you could just have a small meal, like 400-500 calories. Or just eat a little more tomorrow, or later in the week.

Really? I don't know your height and weight (you don't look overweight in your profile picture), but it looks like you're in your mid-forties? I'm 26, 5'7ish, and currently weigh around 170 pounds. I looked over my fitbit data for the last couple of months, and it looks like I hit about 10,000 steps most days teaching. At…

When I'm working (I'm a teacher so I'm on my feet all day), I burn between 2600 and 3000 calories a day. I'm not at an aggressive deficit right now because I'm only about ten pounds overweight at this point, so I try to get between 2000 and 2500 calories a day on days that I work or hit the gym. A lot of my friends and…

Again, if you're new to lifting and you're already fairly slim, you'll probably see results pretty quickly. Everyone's body is different, and it depends on your routine and your diet, but if you hit your upper body really hard and stick to your diet, you'll probably see a difference in two weeks

You should ditch the video (I'm assuming it's a low weight high rep aerobics type thing - I might be wrong, of course) and buy a couple of dumbbells and start lifting heavier weight, lower volume. I started with 10s and 15s, which aren't as heavy as you might think. I still have those at home and use them to get in a quick…

Hi! I'm getting married at the end of July and I've got about 18 pounds to lose by then. Add me if you like, everyone! P.S. I'm using a Fitbit as well!!

I have one high calorie day once a week or so. It isn't planned, they just sort of happen. I look at my calories on a weekly average basis and my weekly goal is 2000 cal. This week I had a ~4000 cal day and as of yesterday my average is about 2060, because the rest of the days I've been eating a little less. It's fine and…

Everything I eat is a treat! I try to only eat foods that I enjoy

Absolutely. I feel much much better about myself post weight loss :)

I've switched to focusing mainly on heavy lifting in the past month. I used to do about an hour of cardio about 4x a week and lifting twice a week, and now I lift 5-6x a week (I do an upper-lower split) and do about 20 min of cardio total daily, which includes my 5-10 minute warm-up. I'm eating at a deficit, but my weight…

I binge three or four times a month. Try looking at your weekly average instead of worrying about your day-to-day as much. That gives you some room to eat more one day a week and still be at a deficit overall. Also, 1800 calories was the total of what you ate? That's probably not even your maintenance, so why classify it…

The night before my 10K I ate some white rice for dinner with a little bit of chicken and vegetables. Don't eat too much fiber or you might have some GI issues during the race. Carbs with a little protein and not too much fat work for me. Try some boiled or baked potatoes or have rice or pasta. Like you said, though, for a…

Do you actually like cold veggies? I can't really imagine not feeling physically full after a huge salad or like a pound of carrots as a snack, assuming you're getting enough protein and fat in your actual meals for the day. If you don't enjoy eating raw veggies, I would recommend just incorporating more veggies into your…

Feel free to ignore this long *kitten* post, but I noticed that my ticker wasn't working earlier. I don't know if it is now, but in case it still isn't, I'd like to add to my previous comment, in case it sways anyone in the "anything you eat after 7pm magically turns into fat" camp that I'm 90 pounds down from my highest…

Of course! I'm not suggesting he should go low-protein or anything. It just seemed like the OP thought he needed to eat low carb in order to lose weight, which is definitely not true for most people.

Do you have some sort of hormonal disorder? If not and you're eating at a calorie deficit, you'll lose weight no matter how many carbs it was

I get extremely irritated by people singing, humming, or talking loudly on their phones at the gym. Grunting/heavy breathing is totally fine, but singing really pisses me off. It's so disrespectful to other people. Ugh. Why would anyone do this?
-
I just fit it into my daily calories. Who cares what time you eat it? If you want ice cream at night, eat a little less during the day to account for it Edit: If you want a lower calorie alternative, maybe you could try frozen yogurt?

I'm 5'6.5. In my profile picture with the black dress, I'm about 162 pounds. In the other profile picture, I'm about 150, I believe. The lowest I've been is 146ish, and I know I wouldn't be comfortable going too far under that. 145-150 is my ideal weight range based on how I look, how I feel, and how I feel about how I…

You lost weight because you were in a caloric deficit. Has nothing to do with "eating better" or snacks.
-
OP, skipping breakfast if you're not hungry is just fine. You'll lose weight as long as you're in a deficit.

Subway is fine, not great. I get it 2-3 times a week because it's convenient and fits my macros. I like Submarina better, but it's a little more expensive
