Cut up fruit with a fruit dip (lowfat cool whip mixed with lowfat vanilla yogurt) Angel food cake with sliced strawberries on top (slice strawberries and sprinkle with splenda and a bit of water) Pretzels or mini carrots with lowfat onion dip (lowfat or fat free sour cream and a packet of onion soup mix) But most of what…

Not TOO high on the gore level. Yes, it is there. Only a few parts that you can get through.
-
Oh my gosh! Me too! My new motivation to work out!

Bump. They are making my mouth water here.

Agreed. Finished book 1 is a day an a half. Honestly, I NEVER would have read it if both my 25 year old son, my sis-in-law, and her niece did not ALL rave about it. They all have such different taste in books, particularly my oldest son who is really an avid reader. So, I gave it a try. Part way through book 2 now. It is…

Can I join? If so, I was thinking 50 miles walk/jogging. Thanks!

Yay for you! Great job walking away!

I must say, I am intrigued. I love PB!!!

Yay! Good for you. And how awesome is it that your boss has sponsored you!?! You have a great boss. Really, you do. I wish I had that. Heck, I wish I had coworkers. lol I so want to do the Princess Half, since we only live an hour away. But for me, it is the money. And the lack of support to spend that kind of money. And…

My husband and I, along with another couple, went away yesterday to a concert across the coast from us. We went to see Journey with Foreigner, and Night Ranger (I know - I am really dating myself here!). Spent the night in Tampa and went to the Hard Rock afterwards. Had a GREAT time, Probably loved it even more because we…

Tracy - I know that when things settle in a bit you will be able to catch up. I understand. I have been there myself, with all of the chaos and craziness. (and, sadly, I know at some point I will be there again - that is just the way life goes). Keep your head up, and get through today. Take it day by day. Jessica - I am…

Holy cow! I am wiped! My muscles are trmbling right now. Just did Thurs & Fri challenges back to back and did a 5 mile this morning. I will be lucky if I do not fall asleep mid sent.... Kellie... 25 jumping jacks, pronto! As for my user name... I did not come up with mine in college.:noway: Mine came from when my…

I just googled this because it has not really happened to me much in the last year. However, now I am trying to get faster (I run really, really slow - but hey- I run) so I am concentrating more on longer strides and higher spring in my step. Well apparently that is setting off my side stitches. It seems that they have…

Well done is right!!!! Jessica! Wow! You go girl! Congratulations to all of you that had a great week! But watch out! I am coming for a top finish this week!

Day 1 and Day 2 challenges are DONE!!! Also completed it the 5 miler. I stopped counting my water at 16 cups. I have been under my calories yesterday and today. I have been really good about increasing my protein too. My muscles are quivering today but I am ON this week. :drinker:

Kellie - No shame in the pygmy challenges! Great work on the burpees! I HATE, HATE, HATE them. Did I mention I hate burpees? Lisa - Way to go on the 5 miles! Tracy - No worries at all. You are doing great. Keep it up! I did my 5 miles this morning. I was not sure exactly what 5 miles was. I did my usual route where I know…

I have been having similar troubles with mine. I usually put it on before I leave the house. I find that if I wet it and put it on, it does not like to read the HR. But if I put it on while driving there, I guess my body warms it up enough to cause a bit of sweat perhaps under the strap and then it 'usually' picks up my HR…

Thanks Kellie! The encouragement means a lot! You are likely right. I never seem to get enough sleep. There is always too much to do (and then I get sidetracked on MFP and FB- lol) . I am hoping that things are going to start to fall into place a little bit better. Soon my husband's schedule will start backing off for the…

Am I missing the post? What are the challenges for this week? I feel so lost being off the last few days!
-
Confession time: I fell off the wagon last week! I am so sorry team! I only got 4 of my challenges days made up. Tried to do them all on Fri and Sat but they were LONG challenges. And those darn bearwalks killed me. I had to post a gain last Friday of 5lbs bur was back down to 3lbs by Sun morning. I am so frustrated by my…

Thank you all for your encouragement! It really makes it wonderful to be part of such a great team! My husband got rained out this evening so we met after dance class for dinner at the local coal fired pizza place. It was nice to just sit for a while. Okay, off to find a tabata workout and find a place to bearwalk. I have…

You just wanted to push ahead! What a warrior! What a bush(wo)man!

Ok, just looked up bear walks. They are quite funny looking!!! Where in the heck are you supposed to do five minutes worth of bearwalks? That is way to embarrassing to do outside on the street (not to mention painful in the hands) and it looks like you need to much room to be able to do it in the house. Where…

Hi Team. Sorry I have been MIA. Life took a crazy, hectic turn for me. I have not even been on the computer much. Last week was work every day and then some meeting or activity with my children every night while packing for a camping trip. Went camping this weekend and had a great (but tiring) time. I am sad to report that…

Yay! That means I did WAY more than required last month. That means 50 should be easy! Woo Hoo!

89 lbs is awesome! It is actually my 14 year old (yeah, he is super skinny, built like his daddy). Hopefully my body will decide that it is ready to contribute more towards the team and start a downward trend going.
