Ham is Paleo, Salami not so much, but it's OK within reason. There is an 80/20 rule, just because there is a cheat here and there doesn't mean she gets drummed out of the Paleo Core.

Military diet? Doesn't look like a military diet to me, there isn't any tabasco sauce anywhere in there! Drop the bread and ice cream and youve got the start of a primal diet, however.

When you are paleo, you can carbo load on white rice and sweet or white potatoes. Unless, those give you a bad reaction. Then it is strictly is fruit and veggies, no legumes.
