I know you were looking for women to chime in here about your post but I thought I'd drop in and say a word too... I'm a man of 37 and have NEVER wanted children... I just have never had any paternal instinct and find infants quite annoying. I have nieces and nephews and just prefer to be the cool uncle that livens things…

Very true, it has more to do with not enough MD's though.... Would you work in PEI when you could work in a city where you'd be making way more money... My uncle is an MD and i know all to well the ins and outs of the system. My mother is a retired RN who spent her career in the ER and OR, and again know all to well...…

Holy crap some of you folks are hard on the USA.. for Americans that dislike their home... The grass is always greener... In Canada health care is not free... we are taxed up the wazoo and back down the wazoo and around the wazoo etc etc!!!
